Yes sir. I had heard that years ago a former big name local SLM driver wanted to buy it, but old man Potts wanted to keep the concessions. Then another more recent SLM driver wanted it but nothing ever came of it. Now, these are just pit side rumors I've heard, but it sounds like dealing with the Potts family is similar to dealing with the Colwell's if there is any truth to these stories.
The two stories you posted are in fact 100% true. I've heard it right from the two guys mouths.
This latest one I've been told this by two very reliable people I've known for years.
