The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance and Friendship Motor Speedway have announced a $5,000 to win, $300 to start event on Saturday, October 3. An open practice will be held at the Elkin, NC oval on Friday, October 2. The race will join Richmond Raceway’s September 26 “Damn Yankees 50” and Lancaster Motor Speedway’s October 17 “Chris Knight Memorial” as a part of FASTRAK’s Cancer Awareness month. All races during the stretch will pay $5,000 to win.
“This is a string of races we are excited to have as part of our 2020 schedule,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “we encourage teams to start planning special wraps as we will have some awards for best looking car on top of the $5,000 to win races.”
Justin Hudspeth took the checkered flag during the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance visit to Friendship Motor Speedway on July 11. The tour is set to return to action on August 7 at Ohio Valley Speedway for $2,000 to win and August 8 at I-77 Speedway for the $3,000 to win 10th Annual UBB 29 Miners Memorial.
