That sounds good at first, but this isn't professional racing. These guys all have jobs somewhere, and take their vacations when they can, or have to be out of the car for other reasons, so you have someone else drive the car and don't have to worry about losing al lot of points.This isn't NASCRAP with owner points... They need to get into the 21st century, and the DRIVER get the points... I do not know of too many tracks doing it this way anymore... Owners don't wheel the cars, and win championships. Drivers do... Would help with tempers I would think... JMO
