The stampede should be this.No question.
The stampede is going to be like this once all the stuff is worked out if You have not heard. Dirtcar is holding everything up with these other series at the moment. They're basically cutting some of the smaller divisions off at the stampede and giving people more of what they want to see.

It needs revamped. It's way too bloated and it doesn't pay enough for teams to be held prisoner for three nights.

Just because it makes them money doesn't mean its good for the drivers and fans.
You are totally right. Let's take a huge loss just so the fans are happy.😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️

No , youre right. They shouldnt give the fans what they want or drivers a better payout. As long as the track makes money who cares

Profit margin. As long as the camping lot is full and the fans keep showing up. Why change anything ? Granted I have not been there for 5 yrs now but before that the deal was a huge money maker.
Still is.
Hopefully the new changes this year works out for all parties involved.

ULMS is supposed to sanction the Super Late portion, but they changed it to TBA on the schedule for that weekend. They still do have Lernerville as one of their tracks they visit though. The don't think you will see All Stars in for this show as there season wraps up before. BRP is a definite possibility, but this is also going against short track super series at Port Royal, which I know doesn't really impact any of the locals in Western PA. They have it still have the 4 regular classes, along with Rush Lates & Mods, UMP Mods and 4 cylinders on the schedule.

Isn't there still a contract in place between the Tomson's and WRG? If there is, they are still beholden to the whims of them regarding their big shows. Translation: The SCS won't be revamped until, if then, the Tomson's no longer have an agreement with WRG. It's clear that show makes a ton of money. I believe it could be made a much better event for both fans and drivers. As it is now, it's not for me. I hate how the track is and I only really care about the root divisions and the Enduro. That's just me. My guess is that as long as it makes lot's of money, it will never be changed. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they add more classes.

You know, I've never seen a single armed guard stopping anyone from leaving any racetrack I've ever been to.
This is about the only thing that I so vehemently disagree with you on. No one is held hostage. I get that you only want to see certain races and you consider it hostage taking for you to have to wait for those races, and I don't understand how it's a hostage situation.
I do agree that the order of the Stampede is messed up. They need to get the sprints on the track while there still is a track, no further down the line than 3rd, and definitely before the cratemodels.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

So Ill throw you a bone. How much do you think admission to an event like this should be? How are you covering the rest of the expenses? A purse like you laid out would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $200k. Are you gonna be able to draw 20,000 people to make this profitable? Tri City tried something similar last year and ate shit big time. There may have been 500 people there and nary a full field in any division to cover on the back gate. Its not as simple as pay a bunch of money and the people will come in droves
I would say that the overall admission should be around 40 to 50 dollars total. If you would want to come only 1 night admission would be 25 to 30 bucks a night. Unless I could get the world of outlaws to sanction this then I would charge like 60 to 70 for the weekend or 40 a night.. But I would do this race weekend not in October but sometime in the summer. I would probably do this late July early August when the weather has a better shot of getting the whole weekend in. I would also try to sanction this with all the traveling series. I would do the all star sprints, the ulms late models, either the super dirt series or brp, and finally penn Ohio for stocks. If not those divisions I would try for all the world of outlaws divisions with the penn Ohio series. You really don't think that a big purse like this would draw in other drivers from other tracks and in turn bring their fans to the races? I would also let drivers run whatever tire they wanted to. I think if you would promote something like this you would use billboards, ads online and radio marketing. I would also have camping available. But that is just an idea on how I would do something like this.
