You folks all want to see bigger paying shows, but there's a cost that goes along with it. Economics 101.

What does camping have to do with the actual race itself?.. Are they going to charge $50 a car for the people who do not have a camper then to pay for the bigger purse?

Camping is a luxury, parking is not. Once again, these race tracks are businesses, that's what capitalism is all about. At the Econo Lodge in Mifflintown, PA, just 10 or so minutes from Port Royal, the rooms on any racing weekend are close to $200 per night, they charge that because they can, since there are very few motels between State College and Harrisburg. If you want to bring your expensive camper to a race, you're going to pay.

Wait for 2023 when they charge every car to park for every event. Its coming people
I don't know how you'd know that to be true, but I think they are potentially asking for trouble with Buffalo Township and local property owners if they try and pull that off. People will park off of Lernerville's property every week to avoid paying for parking. It will be a disaster, like when the idiots attempted to charge tow truck drivers to get in, then had to call Ron Gillette to bail them out when they only had one wrecker show up.
As far as the camping for the Firecracker, people will pay it because they want their party weekend. I would hope they have more security though, because there are asshats that think paying $100 will permit them to act like complete and total fools well after most people have turned in for the night.
