The WoO Sprint Car Series was at the Lernerville Speedway this evening for the Commonwealth Clash, a 35-lap main event paying $10K to win.  There were Thirty-three (33) 410 Sprint Cars and Twenty (20) 305 Sprint Cars in the pits.  David Gravel was fast qualifier (12.416 seconds), won his heat, won the Fast Pass Dash, and won the A-Main, not too shabby.  Track was very fast tonight, not much dust.  David Gravel came very close to breaking the track record which was set back in 2002.  Results as follows:

Track was very fast. Thought maybe someone might break the all time track record held by Joey Saldana. Anyway, great show, good night of racing. I thought the crowd might be a little light because of the threat of rain. Didn't seem to have any effect, huge crowd.

Fastest I think I have ever seen Lernerville. Lap 25 in the feature Gravel turned a 12.4 his quick time was a 12.4... May not have been side by side racing but I really enjoyed how fast those cars were going.

Thats exactly how the track should be for a 410 race. Kudos to Dan.
