Tennessee's Volunteer Speedway hosted the unsanctioned Gauntlet Event, consisting of four separate shows for the Super Late Models. Tuesday night's 30-lap A-Main paid $7,500 to win; Wednesday's 40-lap A-main paid $10K to win; Friday night's 50-lap A-Main paid $20K to win; and Saturday's 60-lap A-Main paid $30K to win. If the Saturday night winner also won on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday, he would collect a $100K bonus, provided he participated in all four events. Jonathan Davenport (49) won on both Wednesday night and Saturday night to collect the big bonus. Results as follows:
