After two consecutive rainouts, the weather gods are smiling down on Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this evening for the 15th Annual Ed Laboon Memorial, featuring a 30-lap A-Main paying $5,017 to the winner and $500 to start. Bonus awards include $200 for Fast Time, $200 for the Hard Charger, $200 for the Fast Dash winner, $200 to the Rookie of the Race, $111 to the 11th place finisher in honor of Josh Langer, and $100 Best Appearing Car Award as picked by Ed Laboon's grandson, and Vince Laboon's son, Connor. All this and no entry fee!! Another great job by race organizer Vince Laboon who continues to make this race one of the can-miss Pro Stock events of the racing season.
Also on the racing program will be the RUSH Sprint Cars, RUSH Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Open 4-Cylinders, and Young Gun 4-Cylinders. It's also $1 Berk's hot dog night, and you can have a dog for that low price. The $200 Hoods Up Quick Lube Fast Time Award goes to A. J. Poljak (36) @21.422 seconds. Results as follows:
