I dont have a problem with that Dan and I got an email from Scott today and he said come on up, and I would like to see a good turnout for it since most places are done for the year. I know there are a few of the trucks going to Lawrenceburg but there is still alot of them sitting so get them out and blow off the spiderwebs and lets go racing. Roger

Roger,

did he mention anything about admission? payout? You know, ..... the deal?

Please forward the email from Scott, so we understand completely.

Just curious... We already know that The $$$ won't necessarily be there...... ?????

Just planning on a night of FUN.

Thanks,

Well I might have screwed this one up for Jess, I talked to her last night and let her know that I have already pulled our motor to start freshening it up  . I couldn't pass up working in these awesome temps for this time of year as well as feeling like I had to do something with the truck because of already missing working on it. So anyways, sorry about messing the plans up, Jess was pretty bummed  , I don't think she can get that racing bug off her back. Next year I'll know better and hold off doing anything until this race is over.

No worries Jess I got your number ...8), Ive been behind you b~4 and yuh just never know, I might get lucky next year and pass your butt in hot laps!!! lol Not sure if I can get outta work or not, which bites!!!Kinda been thinkin about runnin a v8 in the truck next year @ fremont, To win at WMP id have to build a 4cyl, my stock motor only gets me 10th or less,no sence in spending a few grand to win $170.00.So I guess since the 9c truck called me out.....maybe we should run v8's and see who's really full of gas!? hehe

Well it looks like the list keeps growing, looks as though the 85Y will be there, and last I heard the weather looks good, at least not as cold as last year. Maybe if we try we can make the biggest race they have this year, along with the payout will be sure to go up also.

If any of you truck racers are interested in making a racing weekend of it you should head to Evergreen Auto Park from Stateline. They are racing both Saturday (for fun & trophies) and Sunday (for money). As long as there are 3 trucks you would race with your own division. They have a great party on Saturday night w/camping. We are planning on taking the mod up for some test & tune...and they said that if there aren't at least 3 cars we will race with the Oakshade sportsmen cars. Dan & Lois are great people, that are for the racers, and it is just $20 per car and $6 per adult...bring your own chairs and enjoy the day. Check out B-rad's post for the website information.

Have fun down there. We'll be shivering at Stateline tomorrow (Friday night).

Wish we could swing the Evergreen thing, but it's just not in our cards for this season.

Maybe sometime next year?

Good Luck, complete safety, & TUNZ of FUN to all who are racing this weekend, wherever it may be!
