Are there other brands of tires more readily available to make running the races possible?  I realize their is a relationship with hoosier but when they cannot deliver leaders go to plan B

In this case there seems like there is a difference between an owner (Mileys) and a track maintenance crew.  When I hear Matt on here he seems to be saying that the Miley family is worn out dotting all the i's and crossing all the T's required to make the track successful, especially when it comes to maintaining the track.........I get it, its a lot of work week in and week out, lots of areas to cover.  But at some point you have to step away from the maintenance part of the equation (because your not qualified to do it) and you hire a qualified crew to take that effort on and continue to fine tune that crew until the results are what you want them to be.  The cost to hire a few people to maintain that track should be reasonable and expected if you are a track owner.  If not then your fooling yourself and the results will never meet peoples expectations........  I realize they may already have a crew but 1 person or 2 is not the size of a the crew required for a place as big as PPMS..........there is money required for maintenance but does not include the amount of money for required for improvements.......those are 2 different costs.......combining them when discussing spending money and you will likely CHEAPEN up the outcome of everything....

Did you guys noticed that all these news stations that wouldnt typically say 2 words about Nascar all of a sudden have a report about a wreck at the daytona 500.........what a bunch of ambulance chasers.............it is truly disgusting.....

You know the only thing I want to know is how much money is being spent on this effort and what is the return on investment.........you know this is our tax money being spent without any justification..........

I hate to say this but low car counts is not a track issue its a sport issue.........I went to PPMS a few weeks ago and its was like a ghost town in the pits and in the stands........it was sad.........

I think the sport has priced most people out of it.....>20K for a chassis..........really??  Its fun to go racing but not that fun....

Its a shame cause its a sport that many love....but cant afford to participate in anymore...

It was awesome seeing Davenport running around the top scrapin the wall and bloomquist running as hard as I have seen him run in a while.  All while Don Oneal was being... Don Oneal and driving the wheels off his car.  I said it then and will say it now, I think that might have been the best race I have watched.

Agree 1005 - Almost considered not going because of the cost and decided to go at the last minute....that was a good decision

Man I truely wish we would go back to an eye for eye type of justice so these Fricken idiots would maybe think a little about the consequences before they act...........I say hook up the guy to the bumper and lets go for a ride.....I'd like to see the look on his face then...LOL
