In Topic: new GM for lima?

30 July 2009 - 05:38 PM

New GM???? Just what america needs a new GM... Only car in the states that is atleast half AMERICAN is a FORD!!!! China got GM out of their money issues... Dodge... what a joke...
Now for the comment of New General Mananger... How stupid are these people? Do you or anyone in the greater Lima area think that Mr. Jarvis is an idiot? If so I wouold have to say he's pretty d*mn smart one!!!! He's making more money then you, your brother, your sister and even your mom all put together... But everyone thinks that since they can afford a computer and "taught" themselves to type that they can get on here and try to tell a man how to run his OWN business....
What makes you think that Jarvis isn't telling Fricke how to do things? He is his boss.... I'm sure the man knows what he is doing...

Once again.. just adding my 2 cents... and it's not even worth that much....

Have a good day all!!!

Hottie, I don't think anybody is telling Jeff Jarvis how to run a race track! But, here is a question for ya: If you walked up to a staff member at Limaland to offer a suggestion, recommend a change, or question a policy and you heard: "If you don't like it go to another race track!" How would you feel? See, what you don't realize is that this is the attitude and standard response from guys like fricke, fennerty, suckrider, and the rest of the competition team. I doubt Jeff Jarvis has ever told these guys that you should treat the customers this way. Fricke has this belief that he is better than everyone else.

As pointed out in a previous post, why do the Keysors, Browns, and McClains have to put up money for a memorial race and fricke doesn't? I guess anybody can buy a sign and advertise or "memorialize". Does he? One thing I know in my discussions with track employees is that Jarvis likes Limaland to be a team/family effort. If that's the case, wouldn't everyone who was asked why something is the way it is at Limaland, respond by saying the same, "if you don't like it, go somewhere else!". I have never heard that response from Don Long, Bridgett, Stephanie, David Hale, Don Louden, or one of the ladies at the snack bar register.

The reality for Limaland is a continued exodous of fans and race teams for as long as bob fricke's mentality is tolerated. My guess is that Jarvis doesn't have time to babysit his GM and the hands off approach has allowed fricke to develop a belief that Limaland is, in his mind, FRICKELAND.

In Topic: NO MORE OPINIONS

28 July 2009 - 07:39 PM

so i see that now were not able to have a good discussion because if we say our opinions on here the topic gets deleted. come on let us have some heated debates stop erasing everything seriously its gettin a little annoying

Since it would appear that we are not allowed to post our opinions, why not just state the facts as the rules say we can do!

1. Bob Fricke openly states if you don't like Limaland, go somewhere else.
2. When you look at the NRA rules, there is no rule that states a competitor can pay money to have another competitor torn down. The sanctioning body can choose to do that. Yet bob fricke allowed Dennis Yokam and Kent Wolters to each put up 500.00 and have each of the hammons cars torn down. Kent Wolters ultimately backed out.
3. bob fricke has built some of the roughest race tracks Limaland has ever seen.
4. Gene Frankhard is a Godsend!
5. Limaland took a fan survey a few years ago. Why was there no race team/driver survey? There needs to be one.
6. Jeff Jarvis has done more for Limaland than anyone can ever imagine. For every good deed Jarvis has done bob fricke has offset that with his mouth or his actions.
7. John Burden intentionally holds yellow flags to complete another lap. On a quarter mile track, that is dangerous and unnecessary.
8. When you look at stock car teams and mod teams that race at waynesfield and eldora, a lot of drivers that used to call Limaland home race there but not at Limaland. Why is that....Management?
9. Pat Fennerty could use some training on how to provide a positive customer experience. His actions are starting to mirror fricke's.

Now instead of facts: here are some questions.
1. why does Jeff Jarvis trust his race track to a guy nobody really likes?
2. Why is Gene Frankhard not allowed to do more at Limaland? Would he bring more credibility to the table than fricke?
3. speaking of credibility, does the NRA really have any left??
4. Does Limaland really think that people don't scan their radio transmissions?? The way fricke talks to their employees is no different than the way he talks to the drivers and the teams!
5. What is really gained by cheating? Does it make sense that the scorers, pill drawers, Hale, or anyone else would cheat on behalf of a driver or to create a certain scenario ?
6. Doesn't Limland have the greatest hot dogs for a dollar???

None of the facts above can be disputed. I am sure several people who read and post or read and never post would be happy to verify the facts. The questions i have asked are for each person to think about and formulate their own opinion. Just be careful how you post them!
