Is parts peddler a used car swap meet or is it all new parts? Do they have much for sprint cars? Thanks

I haven't been there for years but I think it's a bunch of everything. Lots of manufacturers and they had an auction too. If you want sprint stuff, silver springs event in Harrisburg is the best one

Thanks for the input, you already had this date on your schedule and that is the race I will be attending. Yesterday would have been a perfectly fine day to run the chilli, bad call in my opinion!!

Monday morning crew chief, and if it rained and many guys stayed over, people would be bitching too. Nothing is ever right and everyone else always knows how to do it better. Clearfield got hammered with rain Friday night and the place was a mud hole Saturday, and thus why it started late. Most of you would make good wives, cause with all the bitching that goes on here, might want to check the status of what's in your pants. If you want to go, then go. If you don't, then go give your wife a hand in the garage, she could use a snack and cold beer

I'm not saying that there isn't talent up there, I'm just saying that the guys up that way have a tendency not to travel all that much, and especially not to PPMS, where you need a big hammer of a motor to be competitive because it's so big and fast. That's okay, I'm sure they're having fun and saving money running closer to home. Every track and area has plenty of guys that don't do a lot of traveling.

It doesn't have so much to do with racing as it does the mentality of the area and economics. You may drive 45 minutes to a job in the city, when many up here drive 45 minutes just to have a job, and decent paying jobs are scarce. Look at hummingbird, take a 25 mile radius, and the biggest town doesn't even have over 10,000 people. On the same token, on a given Saturday night, city folk have tons of options, us back woods folk can either get drunk or go to the races, and yes we all b*tch that there is nothing to do. With that said, on any given week we may have 20-25 people that come directly to watch or help in the pits. It gives them SOMETHING to do. I have traveled around, and can run up front on any given night, but seeing the fans and pit people happy, and able to come out to watch is priceless, and without the fans-we wouldn't have a sport

I lost a lot of respect for a driver in the street stock division.

What happened?
