Hello all. I'm new to this site , but not new to racing. I learned to drive in a race car, back when i was 14 my dad and i put together a 4 cyl for Hidden valley speedway. I ran there for about 3 yrs and went to asphalt at CPS. When my oldest daughter was born my wife and I put racing on the back burner. In the down time I worked with Jimmer and Jimmy Seger on their racing projects from pure stocks, super late models to sprint cars. It's now been 10 years since I sold all of my equipment and I can't fight it anymore. I started building a new street stock for the 09 season, but was laid off last spring. Now that i'm back to work, the project is underway again. We are shooting to have the car ready in May/June. Planning on running the Bird and CMS, hope to see ya there.

Hummingbird RWD 4 cylinders?

Last saturday we heard a rumor in the pits, that the bird is going to a full frame rwd 4 cyl. next year. Anybody else hear this and if so, does it mean thay are gonna be running the 4 cyl. late model chassis's like Hesston used to run? If this is the case, the track needs to let these guys know soon. It pretty much means the cars they have are gonna be worthless and they are gonna have to build a whole new car.
clutch and flywheel

I have a Z28 10 1/4 lightweight flywheel and a Centerforce clutch , the flywheel will need surfaced as it has a few hot spots on it. The clutch has 3 races on it. asking $200 for set
