Many of you are aware of the injury Brian suffered last July at Lernerville Speedway that left him paraylized from the chest down and as as a result confined to a wheelchair this has limited his ability to move around outside and his wfe Bri is not very large, that is difficult for us to understand but it dosent stop us from helping.
We have been in contact with the Steve King Foundation based out of Kansas that has as their focus helping racing folks in need after accidents and injuries they have provided half of the funds to purchase this wheelchair it is equiped with Dozer tracks and will travel in any type of rough terrain and thus give Brian the needed ability to move around by himself.
I am asking on his behalf for you to give to this worth while need we will be presenting this chair to him on May 11 Th and still need about 4000.00 dollars I am sure as a race fan and regardless of your favorite class you will give to this cause the need as of now is very attainable please help Brian get back on track.
If you want to see the chair and read about this go to www.SteveKingFoundation.org Local information may be directed to me Chaplain Bill Beck box 636 NewBedford Pa. 16140 or racerspastor@yahoo.com

Information on Rick Halls condition.
09 March 2013 - 11:48 PM
Dear race family as I visited Rick today and ask if there was anything I could do for him he a said will you post on the internet my condition I said I would tell exactly what he wanted told so here is the real truth as he knows it today, will you please honor him and only repeat truth. Two weeks ago Rick was having some serious problems in his abdomal area and was talen to Mercy hospitial in Pittsburg and had surgery for colon cancer the surgeon that operated said he removed a section of colon and thought he got it all ,but from the MRI there was some spots o his lungs ,he will be undergoing some sort of treatment for that issue soon Rick said big Ray was helping him get checked in at Hilman cancer treatment in pittsburgh for more evaluation. This is exactly what Rick and I talked about today so if I read anything to the contrary I will with his permission correct either the person printing or telling it,I gave my word to Rick and really trust others to honor this request.
Rick is at home and is doing well for the surgery he underwent he told me his belly feels like a well used punching bag also he need his rest and if you call he may not answer and please check before you just drop in.
I will now ask you to use your energy to pray for him and support him in that way I feel honored that he ask me to do this and the last thing I would want to do would to violate his trust.
