Well said 77chevyman. He deserves credit. I think it's a great track that can prosper. He's doing very well in my opinion. Yes there was a bad bump I'm turns 4 but every time I've been there it's been good. You'll have a night like that most anywhere you go. The stands were packed everytime I've been there. Good car counts. What more can ya ask for. If the track has a bump..than in my opinion...the driver knows it's there. Why keep hitting it?? Drive around it.

I think dirt is the way to go if they want success. Jmo. But if they were to stay pavement make it cheap so ppl can either switch easy without spending a lot of $$$ and for those who want to start up racing can. Crate lates etc would assist this

I will say this. For as long as I been around...the best chance I've seen that place have was when baineys had dirt on it and raced specials. I love that track regardless but I would have to say there best bet would be dirt specials to start. Mix classes. And get driver thoughts/commitments if they were to run full time.
Pavement...that's another story. I don't see someone building a car for 5 races. And there aren't many other tracks to go to race at when cnb isn't racing...
The only reason I don't see someone to build a car for 5 races is that it is a complete unknown what the track will do...how long it will be open....and who is going to own it down the road. Let's be honest.. Consistency there is lacking. And no one can build for that particular track when the future is suspect.

Hummingbird speedway has put on some fantastic shows this yea. Chris Ferrell and Paul kott have raced probably 100 side by side laps without touching. Was insane.

At the bird...I would bet that the supers would get beat buy the some steel blocks there...tough track to race. I've seen many great drivers from all classes come there and not be as successful

The problem for the other street stocks is that the ride height is not gonna slow that car down. Sorry fellas. That car could be 10 inches or 10 ft off the ground.it still will be fast haha. Either way...cudos to the track for actually teching this year. It has made a big difference. Let's hope they keep it up.

It is the track. I have heard mtie drivers that left say it isn't worth the time spent fixing fenders and doors after every week. You may see a very few who can race there clean. But look...there are drivers that win there and would never win ANYWHERE else because they start on the pole and its nose to tail racing. That is, unless you wreck the guy. Widen the track. And I font mean say you made it wider and you pushed it maybe a foot...make the corners longer and not so tight and that would be a fun racey track. But...we all here know our words fall on deaf ears!

The birds car counts are stable. And rising in some divisions. Amp is a terrible track. There is no room to race no matter what anyone says. Its nose to tail and you see ppl win there that could never win at other tracks.
I feel bad for the owner... He seems to try hard. But as long as he owns that shit hole...he won't get any where. I wish he owned a different track.
