I'm not sure what year, but I believe it's true that the old Butler fairgrounds was where the High School campus is now.

Won of the roads into the high school , is called fairgrounds hill road or avenue.

The Butler Fairgrounds speedway in Prospect (at the new fairgrounds), closed in '69 or '70, for most --- if not all ---
dirt circle track racing.

I am not sure Manny , I think it was in the early 50's if you know Butler at you may know where the high school is.
I think the fairgrounds was on the New Castle street hill where Butler high school is now.
