Join Racers for Tots at our annual Daytona 500 party Sunday February 21st at Angelia's Pizzeria Pub and Restaurant in Kennedy Township.

Hays Heating and Cooling will welcome Racers for Tots guests and supporters at 12:00 noon for the waving of the green flag for the "Great American Race"

The Daytona 500 Party is the kick off event for Racers for Tots and is a fun way to start your race season and a $10.00 donation includes admission to the party, free food, door prizes and more.

Racers for Tots buys toys for needy children for Christmas and what a better way to help kids, watch the 500 on BIG screens, eat great food and have a good time!!

Lots going on with the Racers for Tots Christmas party this Saturday at the South Fayette Fire Hall and the Monday following the Christmas party.

The Chartiers Valley Colts Hockey Club, Hockey Mom
Michelle Sedlak along with Char Val student and race car driver Karlee Kovacs put together a Stuff The Bus program to collect toys for Racers for Tots.

The entire Char Val student body of the school district responded by donating a bundle of toys that will be delivered to Children's Hospital on Monday morning December 14th.

Sedlak and Parent Educator for Char Val, Kellie Albert, along with Kovacs will assist the CV Colts Varsity and Junior Varsity Hockey Team and load a full size school bus with the toys the students collected and take them to the Racers for Tots Toy trailer.
The Hockey team will then load the toys in the trailer and follow the trailer to The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for distribution to the kids at the Hospital.

The players of the Colts Hockey team will then spend some quality time interacting with the kids with arts and crafts, playing games and spreading the Christmas Holiday Cheer amongst the children and staff.

Racers for Tots would like to Thank the CV Colts Hockey Club and all of the students who participated in collecting toys for the Toy drive.

The Racers for Tots Christmas Party is Saturday December 12 from 4:00pm to 11:00pm at the South Fayette Fire Hall 661 Millers Run Road Cuddy, PA.

Admission is a NEW unwrapped toy or a $10.00 donation.

Always a fun time will be kicked up a notch or two with DJ "Rookie" Rick Kohler playing the tunes and back by popular demand the "Fabulous Gunslingers" Country Southern Rock Band!

A silent auction with racing items and more including two pair of Pittsburgh Penguins hockey tickets and the always popular Pool City Christmas tree will all be a part of the auction.

Free food and soft drinks will be available and the toy room will be open to accept Christmas toys for needy children.

The Racers for Tots Rocket race car is on it's way to it's new home in Bessemer, PA with winner Patty Thompson and husband Ron.

The Thompsons accompanied by In Laws Chuck and Bonnie Sarver picked up the Rocket race car this morning. Racers for Tots founder Jimmy Steigerwald turned the Rocket over to Patty and along with the Racers for Tots crew loaded it in Chucks trailer and they headed to it's new home.

The Thompson's do plan on running the Racers for Tots Rocket in 2016 with driver Mike Miller in the Super Late Model division at Lernerville Speedway.

Congratulations to Patty on winning the Racers for Tots Rocket race car in the drawing at the World Finals last weekend at the Dirt Track at Charlotte.
