i had a deal with the 33 late model team, i did all the labor on the car and collected %100 pay. i had a deal with sam ray and was paid 600 per week to work on the car but no pay split. basically i found out wrenching 40-60 hrs and spending all weekend racing another 20 hrs sucked. Kissing Asses and wrenching for people was not the way. i would sooner fit my own budget and do my own thing. !!if somebody pays the entire bill for racing and you dont have to wrench the ride,,, do it for free and be lucky it happened.!

thanks for the cred. now learn some respect for racestud, that will add cred also. maybe you could find a deck builders chatroom and harass them and call them meth heads. while bragging about your money.

Legend knows Rocket Chassis sell great! He is just having a ball with you guys. take any subject on late model racing, and he can add to it [with whatever twist he see's fit] and then argue you are wrong. makes interesting reading for sure.

well boys i can see most wont give the guy any thanks. but i bet you this, if jeff runs 4 specials next year and lets say1 or 2 late model specials[ on the properly picked date] paying 3000. he will have a full show and make money that day. and i bet if some of you used your proper names you wouldnt be so negative on these matters. if you were not ashamed of half of the things you post you would use you real name. man up and crawl out from behind your keyboard and use your proper names.

lmao on the crabs. once again the legend is spot on. i will burn every racing receipt before i loose sleep thinking my accountant isnt responsible anyhow. and by the way guys the subject is amp racing. is there a way anybody could thank good ole jeff taylor for his efforts on here. the man really put a grand effort into that place.

i agree with legend on this post, and most of the other posts he leaves. you all have valid statements. my input is that the economy is so poor entertainment is on most familys back burner. it seems people dont have the money this year to spend. long hard winter that lasted longer than i can remember in my 56 years on earth! gas prices around 4 dollars. and a president who gives us little hope for recovery. i believe the money for racing is drying up. and too many tracks so close to each other. there seems to be a race car shortage everywhere. tracks are trying to make cheaper racing for the racers but racers dont have money for change at this time. example[ semi late latemodels.] super late guys cant change to cheaper motors and get in that class because that costs money. sure they would save big , but when you already have big motors that dont retail for shit these days how would you save by changing and spending more on a limited motor. sadly i must say racing is a dying sport. i wouldnt be surprised in 10 years if we end up speaking chinese, politicans are gutting the country one law at a time. poor getting poorer 1% getting richer.
