Brookville area: Saturday: AM-Cloudy with a 60 percent chance of showers. Highs in the upper 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. :( PM-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the evening. Lows mid-lower 40's. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent. :( Sunday: Hi: 57° Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 50s. :) Lo: 42° Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. :)

According to Brian Carter CEO of WRG, they are now confident in their direction and race track ownership is no longer in their future. They are trying to sell off Rollong Wheels and Cayuga County, they would still have deeds to Volusia County and Lernerville Speedway in Sarver.

WRG tried unsuccessfully to lease Volusia for 11 months of the year but keeping the profitable Feb Speedweeks dates. WRG is now happy to keep the facility closed all year but ready for their highly successful Feb promotions where there is racing every day.

Regarding Lenerville, Carter said the company would be interested in selling the property for the right price to the right buyer.
He feels the weekly race track promotions work best when the owner is from the area around the speedway.

$1,000.00 Bonus Donated to Winner of 7th Annual Fall Classic An anonymous donor has added $1,000 to the winners share of the 7th annual Fall Classic and the race will now pay $13,000 to win. With the late model purse now in excess of $41,000, there is over $85,000 up for grabs beginning next Thursday, the 20th with the Mike Duffy Memorial King of the Hill, the Mike Mountain Man Reed 360 Late Model special, plus MCR Street Stocks, MCR Mini Stocks and a pure stock special. Gates open at 5:00, racing at 7:00

No mention of the Chili 100 on the Hummingbird Schedule, too bad another track couldn't have picked it up.
