94.3 not a hypocrite at all, just can't stand to watch slow support divisions all night. Sharon has taken great strides to get a quality sprint car program going again, Sharon along with Lernerville might bring sprints back strong in western Pa. after all AJ just won at Port, something to be proud of. Lately I have given up on weekly support division racing to travel into Ohio or Central Pa.a couple of times a month to see a quality sprint program without sitting through multiple slow half fielded support divisions, like the ones that have invaded Western Pa. Just my choice to see a stout headline division over multiple crate divisions that you have come to love!

Great that Tri City ran the 410's first so we could get out of there.

Beating another dead horse here, but if the local promoters would have actually worked together with a common set of 305 rules, that division would be flourishing and the wingless crate deal may not even be hitting the ground.  I for one look forward to the division, as the BOSS Wingless Sprints always put on a good show, so this should be good, but people need to be realistic with car counts.  It's going to start light like the RUSH Mods did, but their counts are very strong now.  Hopefully the Sprints will do the same.  Might even see some long "retired" drivers wiggle back out of the woodwork along with some next generation drivers from well known local racing families.

The reason the BOSS series is doing so good is there is almost no rules. No shock, tire , engine etc. must look like a sprint car and be safe. They are able to put any parts on that are available to them, not dictated you must run ALL my parts kind of car.

What about the late models that they have been advertising????

The great future of crate racing in western Pa. drew 5 yes FIVE crate lates to Tri-City. This is the future of racing you crate fans are talking about! 

I don't mind the theory behind Rush, but the problem I see is they are in every division in western PA. Not a start up division for younger people but an infection in western PA. Racing. How long before we see a Rush fwd. 4 cylinder class. In my opinion too many Rush classes, they are the ultimate slow support divisions.

Crusty1 you do know that was a WORLD OF OUTLAW race rite? Jimmy Seger was on his 9th total lap in a 410 car this season when he made the move on jason. Absolutely nothing against Jason Sides but this is his 90th plus race just this season. Jason made a small mistake and Jimmy took advantage of it. Small contact was made. It is very very tough to qualify for an A main against the outlaws. You can't wait. They are the best of the best.

I saw the pass Jimmy made on Jason. Was it the cleanest? No. Would Jason have made the same pass on Jimmy? IN A SECOND. Was nice to see Jimmy hold his own and not take any crap from Jason on the cool down lap. Good job Jimmy!

guess i should have been there.  so they front flip the car, destroy both wings, and the front axle and never lose a lap. NICE!

Racer65x, Thank you for your, and everybody that has served in our military. Unfortunately the 10% of the people you are talking about make up a majority of this board. This board is for entertainment only, I visit it a lot and it is the same people posting all the time, I post very little, just read and sometimes get a laugh. There are some very knowledgeable people on here, you will soon be able to tell the ones, so don't get caught up in the drama, sit back and read, and maybe get a laugh. If they can get full fields 3 divisions is all they need. Go east or west of our beloved western Pa. tracks and you will find packed racetracks that are not bogged down with 6-7 division shows. Looking forward to my first visit to Thunder Mountain.

Not to be redundant but take a trip to Attica, 15 miles from nowhere, 3 divisions, full fields of cars, fast well run shows = happy full grandstands. Look around and ask where the economy is?

It would be nice to see Mercer drop the AllStars and go with the Renegades working with Tri City and make a attractive weekend for fans and teams alike. JMO

The All Stars has been a great series, but lately they just have not been getting it done. I hope someone or something happens to this series to make it the series it once was. I can remember  when going to an All Star show ment something. Lets all hope that this series gets a boost so going to a All Star show is seeing a top of the line sprint car show again!
