I know my bf and I will definitely be attending. We wouldn't miss this for anything. It's such a shame he is gone so soon :-( He was such a great man.

You're just trying to start trouble, aren't you? Stop spreading rumors that the track wasn't sold.


haha no i'm not starting any trouble. But I am the niece of June and Janet Potts. And now Rich since he has been with my aunt for a few years now. I would be one of the first people to know if the track or any property has been sold, along with any/all of the other employee's there. So, no. No trouble making here :-) Just don't want people confused as to why the Potts' would still be running the track next season bc of a rumor they heard on here :-)

Well Rich finally told me who the new owners will be. Jim Netherblade jr and Terry Rosenberger


I don't know which Rich you talked to but it wasn't Rich Leydic. They haven't sold the track to anyone.

Well i agree they should close her down,but what about the admissions that were paid last week when they rained out.


They're racing this up coming Saturday at regular time and if Someone wants a refund, the best idea would be to contact June or Rich or Janet.

And to kill a rumor that is completely false, they did NOT sell the farm, track or any houses to ANYONE. I dunno who thinks they talked to them and confirmed it but June is my aunt and I called her on Sunday after she called me to confirm they cancelled the races to ask about this rumor and she simply laughed and said "what do you think?" I then replied "No, because you would have let me know" and she responded with "Exactly. No. We did not sell the track or any property to anyone."

So no one is misleaded to believe something that isn't true, the Marion Center Speedway is still owned by June Potts, Janet Potts and Rich Leydic.
