#452291 Roaring Knob No safety crew

Posted by Squirrely Hilly on 04 June 2022 - 09:50 PM

They posted this on their Facebook page in April. This appears to the extent of their safety. Random people on 4 wheelers with fire extinguishers. Anyone that races there is a fool with their own life.

Its Fastrak sanctioned. ULMS has a race their 6/17. Apparently they dont care about safety either.

Looking for A couple of guys with a 4 Wheelers that could help push cars when they stop on the track and carry a fire Extinguisher, Please let me know if theres anybody available for this Saturday at 5 oclock

#421787 HOSTAGE AT LEARNERVILLE

I enjoyed the show.   The top class doesn't always have to run first as long as the show is done by a decent time, which it was.

#414299 $60,000 ThunderDog Showdown UFo Finale at Dog Hollow is Here Sept 24-25-26!

"Sticking it to the Cadets" seems to be criticizing.   I brought up PPMS because you are associated with them.   Plus I have no use for the place as they have ruined Saturday night racing for me.  I have to drive an hour plus to see a good Saturday track these days.      But if Dog Hollow is "sticking it to the Cadets," didn't the track you are associated with do the same exact thing the class (and worse because they deducted hidden entry fees after the fact) with their $75 pit pass?

It was great to see that many cars at Tri-City after it sat closed.   They have a few bugs to work out, but track is headed in the right direction.   I'm glad there is some Sunday night racing again in the area.

There is no reason at all not to have a fire department there.    Roaring Knob once did.    He has chased everyone off.

#409152 4th annual Ed Laboon / Penn Ohio Race at PPMS.

PPMS only gets about 300 fans on races like this. The autograph session shouldn't take too long for that low amount of fans.

So much for the experts that said big money and big names there would make money. If last years race was successful it would happen again.

The scary part of thus is the race is back under the Miley's. They tried to rig the race for Jared two tears ago.

I bet the crap purse will be a secret until the see what the attendance is. This place just keeps spiraling downward under failed management.

Up until a couple of years ago the specs were 360 motors. Then they added a second bigger spec motir to their rules. Did any other track do that? What was their reason? Probably Ben or Jared had a motir this size or Broughers had one to sell, so they changed the rules to fit their personal agenda. I hate going to that place because their apparent outright favoritism to their own race teams and brothers customers. You can't run a race track fairly with conflicts of interest like that. That's a reason few teams show up there. Not the spec motors but changing rules to their benefit. Let's not forget the Pittsburghet fiasco two years ago when they tried to rig the race to give Jared the money.
