Lima should have non wingers the first friday in August. That way the 360's can run Knoxville 360 nationals.Make it a Boss race and have a nice field of non wing cars.Especially with Waynesfield the Hewitt classic the next nite.

That would only make sense lol.

Agreed with the scheduling, id love to see Late Models back there. Midgets would be pretty cool too, maybe they could work with Montpelier on that.

Make the season longer!!!!!!

I don't see the big problem with limaland? Track prep was great for the most part all year, even with some nights having extremely hot temps. The stock car class is growing, and a lot of those drivers are getting faster week by week. The mods have a decent count as well, and the 360s were average, with having some high counts at times. The racing was as good as ive ever seen there. the food is great. I thought the track officials played it pretty fair this year. Who exactly do you want to go to limaland that doesn't go anymore, that isn't completely out of racing? The ones that are gonna put on a show are already there...

Why would anyone want a week off racing . If there were tracks close I would race every night . A bad day at the racetrack beats any great day at work . When I talk about a 2 day show one of those would or could be Test n Tune and heat races , with features the next day . And get fans involved with a driver meet n greet and pictures . Have pits open for a limited time so all can have access and see all the cars and trucks .

Because some people race 50-60 times a year, or some people work on 3 or 4 racing vehicles and could use a week off. Not everyone is just like you. As much as I love helping and racing, its nice to sit back a night with the team and watch. I enjoy going to the Kings Royal, because its a weekend at Eldora and honestly there is nothing better than a weekend at the Big E. I could care less that its usually a one lane train race.

I know a break in July is also nice when its 100+ degrees outside, it hasnt rained in a month, and the track is a dusty mess(nothing Waynesfield can do, its so hot and sunny) it sucks for the drivers and crews, along with the fans.

Would people come to a two day show if let's say Friday was just a party day? Maybe have vendors, games, almost like a small carnival with a concert at night? Then race Saturday?

I think that'd be excellent, allow people to camp out Friday night as well. Maybe even have Friday as a test and tune day, and have Jack give 2 seater rides. Get the drivers involved, maybe have some challenges between em, like obstacle courses or such.

Put together a truck for less than 4k and see how well you do with it. Just make sure your $299 cage is welded properly with a good welder, I dont exactly like the fear of a cheaply welded cage snapping apart in a wreck and entering my cockpit. Thats why I like how so many chassis builders have taken on the ability to build a good, safe cage. Sure it might cost $1000, but everyone out there knows you dont have a pile of junk tubes welded together with a harbor freight welder. Do you think Donny Schatz makes his own chassis? No, and theres a reason for it. Chassis builders are always doing research and development to find the fastest, yet safest chassis. they make certain bars that "break away" and certain bars that "flex" upon impact.
