The Capitol of Dirt Track Racing, the Hagerstown Speedway will present The BRAWL IN THE FALL on Sunday afternoon September 29. This very prestigious event features the top four dirt racing divisions in the country. The open wheeled modifieds and the popular late models will each run a 50 lap feature and the open wheeled 410 and 358 sprints will each do battle in 30-lap features. The Gates will open at 12 Noon and racing will begin at 2 PM. First on tap will be non-qualifying races for the 358 sprints and the modifieds. General Admission is $30. BRING A 2013 RAIN CHECK FROM HAGERSTOWN OR ANY OTHER DIRT RACE TRACK for a $5 DISCOUNT. BRING ALONG CANNED FOOD FOR OUR LOCAL FOOD BANK....Save up to $5 ($1r can of food). The two day Ledo Pizza 7th Annual Small Car Nationals kicks off on Friday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. with qualifying for the Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Hobby Stocks and 4 Cylinders. Guaranteed starting positions were won in two Nationals Qualifier events by Andy Anderson and Billy Farmer (Late Model Sportsman), Steve Kent and Kevin Boyer(Pure Stock),Dustin Proctor and Gary Proctor (Hobby Stock) and Ryan Laye and Cody Kershner ( Four cylinders).Drivers still must make an attempt to qualify. On Saturday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. the 7th Annual Nationals takes to the track. Any B mains will be ran if needed followed by feature events; 30 laps for the late model sportsman, 25 for pure stocks, 20 for the hobby stocks and 15 for four cylinders. $2,000 goes to the sportsman, pure stock and four cylinder winners and $500 to the hobby stock cruiser winner. The Capitol of Dirt Track Racing, the Hagerstown Speedway will be in action both Friday August 30 and Saturday August 31. Friday night join us for the 28th Annual Mcbee /Hayes Three State Flyer Championship event. The fast flying late models will run 44 laps in their feature and the Pure Stocks will be also be on the program . Gates open at 5 PM, Racing at 7:30 PM. Saturday will be a “Run What You Brung” Special. The Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Hobby Stocks, and 4 Cylinders will see who has the edge with wild wings, and spoilers and there will be a “Carnival of Thrills” Stunt Show. As the end of summer heats up so does the action at The Capitol of Dirt Track Racing, the Hagerstown Speedway. Join us Saturday night August 24 for the Small Car National Qualifier. The Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Hobby Stock and the 4 Cylinders will compete in qualifying events and features, and the winner of each feature is guaranteed a starting spot in the Small Car National Event to be held in September. Admission is just $12. Gates open at 5 PM with racing at 7 PM. Don’t forget next week the Hagerstown Speedway will be in action Friday and Saturday night August 30, and 31. Saturday August 17 is going to be a very special night at the Hagerstown Speedway. It is “Back to School” night and “Christmas in August. That’s right the kids get to take a ride around the half mile oval in a race car and they will see Santa Claus. Santa will be greeting everyone from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Don’t forget your cameras.
