Heck going from a hobby stock to a street stock was a big change at least for me, maybe it was the fact that I was about 15 years old at the time. The speed and handling difference was a lot more than I ever would've expected, as dumb as it may sound. Street stock to late model is a big step too. There is a huge difference between the two classes especially with Jordan's car being mostly stock compared to the other guys he ran against. I can definitely vouch for that one since I am a world reknown late model driver with many, many feature wins. Definitely going to be a big change between how fast the steering is and how the rear suspension works. For the most part you have to totally change your driving style. Wouldn't surprise me if it takes a year or two to get used to it coming from the old slow stock car designs. I jumped back and forth night to night in 2012 and it made me a better stock car driver but never did get the seat time to get the whole 4-bar thing down. Probably be a pretty big jump with the cost too but hey if you've got the sponsors to back it up then go for it. Late model is definitely not a low maintenance class. The little things add up quick! Oh but getting back to the actual topic, I am pretty happy about the transmission change. Going to make things a lot easier on me and especially the guys running powerglides. I believe it is cheaper in the long run, and definitely if you plan on doing any moving up in the future. Keeps the guys that had "cheater" transmissions in years past on the same playing level as everyone else now too. Now we just need be allowed to run MSD and I would definitely be stoked to get my 750 4 barrel back on ;)
