Steel City Stampede stats: The official total tally of cars was 222 (plus 76 enduro [298]). The final caution count came to a halt at 62, with 75 different cars being included in at least one yellow. 43 races were ran between Friday and Saturday. 9 belt buckles were given out, and 1 more season at Lernerville was put to bed.

getting to be too much saturation anymore, that's what made Pennsboro cool..once a year seeing all the cars you've only read about.
now they are somewhere close every other week.

and as far as the new Promoter,Walt if you have his ear tell him to read this.. http://web.a-znet.co...1w/don-mrtn.htm

every promoter should read it and treat the racers like they are the show and not just another dollar bill for their wallet that doesn't matter either way.

"How'd you do tonite," he asked when I approached him. "Thirteenth. I just couldn't get hooked up at all. I didn't think it would get so slick" I apologized. "Well, it was your first time here. The track stays smooth but it won't hold the moisture if we don't tear it up. If we tear it up it gets rough and it's hard on the guy's cars." he said almost in a whisper. He was right. It was really easy on the engine and didn't even wear the tires. But it was a lot trickier to set up for than I had guessed. "Do you need a room for the night? he asked. "No I'll head down the road for Port Royal tomorrow night."

If I didn't know any better and listened to everyone on social media, I would've sworn Lernerville had a foot-high cushion half-way up the track every night when Don ran it. Looks like we can stop beating that dead horse.

#423072 No Bloomquist or Satterlee at Lernerville! Suspended for 3 months!

Bloomquist will still be at the Firecracker this weekend.

#418683 FASTRAK set to return back to the Knob for 2016 and beyond!!

Posted by Tyler Beichner on 29 January 2016 - 07:20 AM

Telling the truth is never " unprofessional " there's only 2 things in this world truth and bullshit , half truth is bullshit. Did they go to stan before they went behind his back with a list of demands that he had to either meet or have them leave to start their own deal???? As trusted employees they had access to information a random potential competitor wouldn't have , that is what makes them grimy pigs, not going out and starting their own series.

So you're asking how it all went down? Because I could have sworn you already knew the entire situation.

#416511 Outlaw drivers looking for rides

Posted by Tyler Beichner on 16 November 2015 - 05:28 PM

If shatz had to drive on the rutted up tracks that all the old time greats had to drive on he would be nowhere near a good as he is. The sprint guys were crying at the world finals about the track conditions and they wernt bad at all. Plain and simple if they wernt driving on a sheet of glass tracks every night kinser might still be on top.

Absolute nonsense

jayt5353 this will be my 6th consecutive year down there and the only problem with going is that you'll never be able to skip the event again. For me, this is hands down the best weekend of the year. The 3 best divisions in the world with all of the best drivers. Track very rarely disappoints as I can't remember much bad racing down there, and last year they didn't touch the track all night once cars got on it for hot laps. To be honest, I've left the last three years thinking how can it get better, and then each year it has. Enjoy it man.

I don't think there has been over 26-28 cars at a tour race this year besides the big show at Winchester. There is only 4 guys that appear to be following for points.

38 @ Lernerville for $1,200 to win

#408154 Tri-City Speedway Cancelled

Tonight's event has been cancelled. Big storm just hit the track. Try again next time.

Don't mean to nit-pick but Ferree and Rex started 4th. Lynch was able to repeat from 10th. And big blocks were side-by-side for the lead for much of the race.

#405228 Green flag is ready to fly on Fab4 Fueled by Turner’s Opening Night 2015

Posted by Tyler Beichner on 15 April 2015 - 12:26 PM

Early in the season before the other area tracks start, you never know who will show up. Can't wait, it was a lonh, miserable winter.

By the way, does anyone know who was in the 00h LM at practice? I don't know if it was a Crate or a Super.

It is typically the crate car driven by Russ Byler at Sharon over the past few years. Not sure if any driver/motor change this season, but it looked to be handling the slick like a crate late.

#405065 How's come?

If anyone is that desperate to see it working, you can show up at practice tomorrow and we'll hopefully get a few numbers and times up there for ya  ;)
