Actually, I think that jmmr has been around just fine.  When you are out in Podunk PA (and basically the only game in town  except the boob tube)  you don't have to compete for the entertainment buck. Oh well, lets move on. Car counts are down across the board. PERIOD!

 

What is the purpose of a gear rule? Usually it is to back-stop the rev limiter. Well, why do that? Better question is why are cars beating the chip! How about non stock cams in sealed crate engines? Soaked tires? Aluminum Drive shafts? Non functioning / hidden MSD boxes? Acid ported intakes and hog-cut valve bowls? Just to name a few.......  Let's call it what it is. Cheating! People, this stuff is just like computer hacking. Why have rules? - Keep the playing field level and to contain costs. Why have more or new rules? - Well, dah....... all of the above, and more! Why do the rule changes cost more money? - Because some people have already spent their money on the cheater hardware and now it costs them double cause now they got to change it back to where is was in the begin!  As far as the real high dolar stuff, you tell me how do you compete with a guy that overrevs his 47 grand Rousch-Yates and then writes a check for another one? That happened at the Firecracker and it was a local boy too! It's called Crate Racing.  Sealed Crate Racing!     Don't get me started.............. That's for another post.  Time for racers to protect racing.   That's just my $0.02 worth.

Who cares- actually i think its all been explained pretty well at this point. I'll tell you who's runningit- a bunch Of guys who used to run at motordrome and are fed up. The new owner doesn't return calls. I've sent him emails 3times and I know of 2 other guys who had the same result. Parking spaces had a huge increase in price- we aren't buying them this year- they got rid of the 10 race pass you could buy. We were told we couldn't register our number til we had a NASCAR liscense- first time in 12 seasons???? So far - not good at all. Yeah yeah be grateful someone blah...blah...blah. If this is any indication I'd say Jennerstown will be where alot of guys are runnin.

Motordrome's web site says they have the 10 race pass available. I don't know about the license issue but the MD is sanctioned by NASCAR. Still would like to know who's callin the shots. It 'should' be great to have 2 playgrounds but somehow it don't feel that way!

And when I run top 5 I expect you at my trailer to appologize then smoke my yoke

FACT=Three out of five division winners on Friday got thoroughly checked and were IN FACT CAUGHT CHEATING.One of the other two division winners got nearly nothing checked and I'm not sure about the street stock winner. Well now, That brings us to the real point. If you got "FACT" about what #3 is running illegal, spill the beans to the racing community! The complete top end was off the #3 in that very garage about 3 weeks ago. Did you spy on that one or are you just selective? It is real easy to accuse and/or insinuate. It's another thing to back it up. Nothing short of a complete teardown every night will suffice to some, especially if it's someone else paying the for the teardown.
