NDRL Northeast Late Model Series Will be in Action This Weekend at

Bedford Speedway and Port Royal Speedway

 

We are excited to be making our first NDRL Northeast Late Model appearance at Bedford Speedway Friday night and Port Royal Speedway Saturday night.

 

Friday June 20, 2014 the NDRL Northeast Late Model Series will be invading the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway for 35 laps and $3,000 to win. We will be joined by Bedford’s LM Sportsman class, Semi Lates, and 4 cylinders. Gates open at 5pm, warm-ups are at 7pm, and racing at 7:30pm. General Admission is $18, kids 12 and under are free, as for the Pits $28.

 

Saturday June 21, 2014 the NDRL Northeast Late Model Series will be invading the Port Royal Speedway for 30 laps and $3,000 to win. The action starts at 7pm, general admission $20, students $5, and all pits $30. We will be joined by Port Royal’s 410 Sprints and 355 econo-late models.

 

Drivers include Keith Barbara, Mike Knight, Justin Kann, Jared Miley, Dan Stone, and our NDRL National followers Max Blair and Tim Fuller, and many more.

Pittsburgh, PA (February 26, 2014) The NDRL Modifieds Tour is excited to announce their tentative 2014 schedule that includes seventeen events with up to five more possible events to be announced at a later date. The 2014 racing season will kick off on Saturday, March 29 as the NDRL Modifieds will open their season at Mercer (PA) Raceway Park at the annual 'Chiller Thriller'. The series will then visit 'Dirt's Monster Half Mile', Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, PA on Thursday, April 10 as an undercard to the NDRL 'Kings of Dirt' Series. The NDRL Modifieds will be in action at McKean County Raceway for the 'USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial' on Friday, July 4 and on Friday and Saturday, August 1 and 2 with the NDRL 'Kings of Dirt'. They will return to MCR for the 'Stephanie Eckl Memorial' on Saturday, September 20 before wrapping up the 2014 season at the 'Jim Butler Memorial Fall Classic' on October 9-10-11. Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex will host the NDRL Modifieds on Friday, July 25 as the NDRL 'Kings of Dirt' also invade the picturesque Markleysburg, PA oval. The series will return to Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 27 for the 'Herb Scott Memorial and on Saturday, August 16 for the 'Red Miley Rumble' before the mammoth 'Pittsburgher' weekend on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, September 11-12-13. The NDRL Modifieds will storm into the state of New York for the 'Empire State Swing' as they visit Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY for 'NASCAR Night' on Friday, August 8. In a special twist, NDRL Modifieds standout Vic Vena has offered a ride to a NASCAR Sprint Cup driver to compete with the NDRL Modifieds at Black Rock Speedway. The tour will finish the 'Empire State Swing' at Raceway 5 in Batavia, NY on Saturday, August 9. 'We feel this is a good start for the NDRL Modifieds tour,' McKean County Raceway General Manager and NDRL Official Chris Zuver stated. 'We have a handful of other events still in the works that hopefully we can announce very soon. The modified drivers and fans have been some of the most loyal drivers and fans throughout the years and we want to provide them with a series that they will enjoy competing with. Pittsburgh, PA (February 25, 2014) Officials with the NDRL Northeast Late Models Series are excited to announce their preliminary schedule of events for their inaugural season. Twenty-five events are set for the 2014 racing season which will kick off on Saturday, March 29 as the NDRL Northeast Late Models will make their first and only trip to Mercer (PA) Raceway Park for the $3,000 to-win 'Chiller Thriller'. The series will then make their first trip to 'Dirt's Monster Half Mile', Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, PA on Thursday, April 10 for the 'PENNational' which is co-sanctioned with the NDRL 'Kings of Dirt' Series and will pay $10,000 to the winner. The NDRL Northeast Late Models will make their first appearance at Hagerstown (MD) Speedway on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 24. The series will return to Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday, July 12 for 'Christmas in July' and again on Sunday, August 31. Bedford (PA) Speedway will host the NDRL Northeast Late Models on Friday, June 20 followed by Port Royal (PA) Speedway on Saturday, June 21. Port Royal Speedway's 'Butch Renninger Memorial' is also scheduled and will be held Saturday, August 30. McKean County Raceway will hold the 'USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial' on Friday, July 4 and the 'Stephanie Eckl Memorial' on Saturday, September 20 before the season ending 'Jim Butler Memorial Fall Classic' on October 9-10-11 which will be co-sanctioned with the NDRL 'Kings of Dirt' Series and feature $5,000 to-win events on October 9 and 10, and a $10,000 to-win prize on October 11. The series will return to Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 27 for the 'Herb Scott Memorial and on Saturday, August 16 for the 'Red Miley Rumble' before the mammoth 'Pittsburgher' weekend that will be co-sanctioned with the NDRL 'Kings of Dirt' Series on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, September 11-12-13. $5,000 to-win events on September 11 and 12 will serve as an appetizer for the huge $26,000 to-win 'Pittsburgher 100'. Freedom Speedway in Delevan, NY will take the spotlight for the first time on Friday, August 22 followed by Little Valley (NY) Speedway on Saturday, August 23. Port Royal Speedway The Only Place To See Super Sprints And Super Lates Every Saturday Night Port Royal Slate Includes First Region Shows For NDRL Northeast Late Models Nearly 20 Super Late Model Shows Slated FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 1/17/14 Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway has its 2014 season opener set for Saturday, March 15 at 6 pm, featuring Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints and Gray’s Auto and Towing super late models. The season opener featuring the super late models will be just the first of nearly 20 shows for the big, powerful stock cars at the Juniata County oval during the 2014 season. The super lates will be the focus of many special shows at the track throughout the year. Two of the biggest shows of the year will be the first-ever appearances at the track of the NDRL – National Dirt Racing League super late model series, comprised of two northeast NDRL regional events. NDRL launched its national series in 2013 with stars like Billy Moyer, Shane Clanton, Josh Richards and Jimmy Mars competing as part of its field. And this year, the NDRL is launching its Northeast Region Series as part of its national competition. “The goal of the NDRL is to provide the best racing experience possible for the drivers, the tracks and the fans,” says NDRL Northeast Race Director John Stivason. “We are very pleased to be able to establish our footprint in the central part of Pennsylvania by scheduling shows at Port Royal.” The high-dollar Port Royal NDRL regional shows will be the first of their kind for the sanctioning body in the central Pennsylvania area and will be the final leg of two-day stands in the state each time they visit Port Royal. The first special show of the season for the late models at Port Royal will take place over the Memorial Day holiday weekend when for the second year in a row the Fallen Heroes Championships will be staged for both the 410 sprints and the lates. Also in 2014, the track will host the finale of the lucrative Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek series in June. The 2014 race will be the Charlie Grinestaff Memorial. The 11th annual Butch Renninger Memorial will also be staged during the season and another championship event for the division is also slated. The 2014 slate also includes numerous shows for the newly created 355 econo-late model division, replacing the pro stocks in 2014. Formerly called the “enduro dash” division, several races are also planned for the newly named xtreme stocks.
