DIRT TRACK STOCK CAR FOR SALE!
FINNALLY your chance to get into racing for an affordable price! I bought this car 2 years ago looking to get into racing. I raced it a couple times at Marion Center Speedway then a great opportunity came up for a 305 sprint so we made the move up. I kept the stock car for the year just in case I wasn’t able to run the sprint. Things went well so the stock car is up for sale!
It is truly RACE READY! It even comes with the open trailer and tool box! The seat belts and the window net are only two years old so even they don’t need to be replaced! Car comes with a spare rear end (Broken ring and pinion gears) and an extra Saginaw 3 speed that will also need repairs to the input shaft. We also have some extra wheels, tires and just a couple other small bits.
Here is what the car currently has;
Trans:
The transmission is a Saginaw 3 speed.
Clutch:
It has the zoom 10.5" solid clutch disc, a stock GM lightweight flywheel, and an 85 Camaro pressure plate. The pressure plate has to be Camaro because of the hydraulic system.

Felpro racing head gaskets and a 1204 racing intake gasket that blocks off the exhaust cross over port in the intake. Rod bolts and head bolts are ARP. The intake is early 70s Chevy non-EGR. The exhaust manifolds are late 60s truck known as center dumps. The heads are mid 80s GM casting "601" 305 heads. 53cc chambers with 1.94 intakes and 1.6 exhaust valves. The rockers are comp cams full roller rockers that are windowed out for weight reduction. The spring pockets are cut to allow for the larger valve springs. The comp cams springs match the cam and are shimmed to within. 005 of installed height spec. The guides are all replaced with bronze inserts and they have been machined for Teflon valve stem seals. The heads have guide plates and comp. 080 wall pushrods. It also has comps race 3100 series double roller fully adjustable timing set.
Disturber:
The vacuum advance in the distributer is welded in place and not hooked up. The mechanical advance inside is removed and locked.
