Those Motordrome videos from the early 90's are fantastic. I saw a lot of those in person, really great to be able to see those days again. Many thanks to Rich Miller for posting those.

I'm really afraid that the longer things keep going the way they are in this country we're going to see a lot of teams and tracks be lost for good. The kind of racing that we all love here needs fans in the stands to survive. I know people are making plans for 2021 but at this point I'm not optimistic about anything getting back to normal anytime soon and I think another season like 2020 or worse could spell the end for many tracks. I hate to seem so negative but right now it's awfully difficult to find many silver linings.

Sorry to hear this. Whether it's a racer, crew member or fan it's always sad to hear that the racing community has lost someone. RIP.

Red wasn't much better, when he bought Motordrome in '02 that was the end of the improvements. Before then the previous ownership group had been making improvements year after year. He was a nice guy and he loved racing but he did not do very much to secure the future of that track.

Yes that's a bit harsh if he's done for the year but why run in to a guy under caution? I get being mad about a racing incident but have a little bit of self control.
