I didn't say that Bolland is a cherub, but Swartzlander isn't without fault either. Just remember when there is no competition at Lernerville, who are you going to race against? Racing is about competition. When the competition is gone, the car counts will continue to diminish and the fans won't bother to watch. I have no skinny in this game. If Mods were dropped from the local tracks, it wouldn't bother me one bit. I get enough Mod action several times per year when at Utica-Rome when I'm in NY. They at least have some competitive racing.

JoePa was a salaried employee -- a highly-paid professional -- involved in a cover-up of a heinous crime. JoePa didn't spend a dime putting on entertainment for the football fans at Beaver Stadium. He got paid regardless of what happened during the game. I doubt that he even had to pay for his own football cleats or jacket to wear during the games. Do you even think he had to pull out a buck to pay for his own hot dog while at Beaver Stadium? I seriously doubt it.

You can't compare that to a racer, who is essentially an independent contractor spending their own money on race cars and equipment to put on a show that race fans can enjoy. JoePa risked nothing when he walked through the gates before a football game. JoePa never walked out of the gates at the end of the day with less money than he walked in with. A racer risks everything -- sometimes their life savings, and sometimes their own life.

I was there that night. It was some intense racing, and it was a good show for the fans. I disagree with Lernerville's position on this. I disagree with any track that has little respect for the entertainment that brings fans into the stands.

Woo Hoo! You just made my day! I will be there. I have been to some of the BOSS wingless shows, including the last one you had at PPMS. I agree it was a great show. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks Sharon, we added a second date for the BOSS wingless 410 sprints Sept 29, they put on a great show at PPMS.

I don't hide behind my name, at least I don't think I have! I just might take you up on your offer! I have been to PPMS 2 or 3 times this year, which is more than I have been there in the last 5 years. I have definitely seem improvements in the track and how you run the show. As a person more interested in sprints, non-wing sprints and open wheel racing, hopefully you will continue to add special shows like you have this year (hint, hint). Those Berks hot dogs are really good too. I tried one for the first time at the Midwest All Star show, and they are definitely much better than most track hot dogs. Great job all around! Keep up the good work. Sharon Silver Crown #90
