Former Post Gazette Racing Columnist and now World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Public Relations Director Chris Dolack serves as crew chief and dad to his son Tyler Dolack who races there weekly. He posts a ton of pictures and video on Facebook. The place looks like a blast! Gotta get down there someday. 

Replacement here. Thanks bezerker for the well wishes. And I completely agree I do indeed have big shoes to fill. As I said last night, I have no ideas that I am replacing Dow, just the guy who comes after him. He has set the bar for the announcers in this region and coming in behind him will likely be quite humbling. 

As for his duties outside of racing, he stated last night that he simply can't do the racetrack announcing two nights a week anymore. In fact, in his role as WCNS Radio sports director he nearly missed the banquet and his Sportsman of the Year Award due to being in New Jersey covering St. Vincent College Basketball in the NCAA Division 3 Tournament.
