Thank you, it answers part of the question. Why an order from the White House? It seems to be an attempt to take the President out of the picture so he has no part. A leader stands at the front. If something goes wrong it is my fault, if something great happens it is because of the men and women that made it happen not the figure head, even he made the decision to execute. Give credit and take the blame is a simple lesson I tried to teach all my junior Officers. That hasn't been taught to some politicians yet!!!

There are so many reasons to vote the way I will in November but I have a curious questions. I am a retired Marine and when I was active duty I had to do a good many funeral details. When we presented the US Flag to the family member the standard saying was "On behalf of the President of the United Staes and a grateful nation. The question is for a presnt active duty member that would know. I heard the Mr. Obama changed that so they now say "On behalf of the Secretary of Defense and a grateful nation". Is that true? Is that a means to push the responsibility off of the President? Is it another blame somebody else not me? Commander and Chief? I hope that is not true but I would not be surprised if it was. Just curious????
