Racing wasn't any better at Hagerstown John the track started to get black during hot laps and turned into a train race for the feature also. They said that they were going to do one car at a time time trials also but did three at a time thank goodness. Heading to Port Royal tonight hope things are better there.

We have the same problem here in the Eastern part of PA. We have you asphalt tracks close to each other Mahoning Valley and The New Evergreen Speedway (former Mountain Speedway) and they both run the same classes and the same night. Evergreen was running Sunday during the day till this week and they had a problem pulling cars and Mahoning runs on Saturday nights and has no problems pulling good fields of cars. Instead of these 2 working together they are working against each other and who do you think the loser will be. They both cannot run the same night and the same cars against the same night.

Somebody really had a brain fart here there are 3 asphalt tracks that run the late models and 2 of them are running that night. Not enough cars around when only one runs. Not alot of thought put into it.

Racecar had posted in another topic under weekend rainouts that they were racing on sunday as a raindate.

Thanks for the info, now I have one more question is this going to be the nor for a rain out or was this just a one time deal? Thanks for the comeback.

I was just wondering why did they run on Sunday are they using Sundays for a rain date? I  looked on their schedule and it didn't show racing on the 18th but it did show racing on the 16th. Would have attended the show had I known they were racing made the trip to a race in New York instead.
