Not just some jerk looks like there was hundreds of jerks not wearing masks or keeping their distances or are you talking about the track is some jerk because it looks like they should've done a better job of telling people it's important or I don't know am I confused is the track the jerk because they weren't supposed to be racing and they put all those people in danger who knows the whole story?

Hey Latrobe....... With the anouncement from Dog-Hollow that they have thrown the towel in for the season....wouldn't this be your chance to bring Latemodels into your program??  There is no other Saturday night track in a hundred mile radius of you running Latemodels.  I see Rick Jones is stepping up every Sunday Night for $1500.00 to win. Latemodels.  Maybe put a deal togetther for a bonus if you can win at both tracks???? End your regular season on Labor Day and then run the September and October every Saturday Night with a Latemodel show.  You would do well.

Same story different year.  I think it was 1964 That Curtis Turner and the Flocks tried to start a Nascar union.  I think Big Bill  banned Turner for a year or so.  The only thing i will say is i went to lernervilles website to see their payout.  It say its on Page 7 of the rules.  Go to Page 7...Blank!  That to me is suspicious!  That makes me think it must be LOW!.  Every other track lists its payout.  Some might be better off not to. All I can say is Port Royal Speedway on a consistant basis gets full fields of car in every division.  They list their payout .  I think its one of the best around.  Thats why they get the cars...Hint  Hint!   You get the cars...you get the people...Hint  Hint!  The next thing is maybe they could raise the payout if they got rid of the stupid WoO rules and association.  And get rid of any tire rule.  That alone may encourage more cars.  Just My .02

Once again the "ZERO"  Has justified his username!  I fail to see how me feeling bad for a bunch of guys that spent all winter and all thier money to race are sitting at home.  Racers spend all year making thier plans for the season. So I am sorry I have the racer in mind!  Hate to hear anyone is having bad health.  Wish the best to who ever it is!  But It gets down to weather you are running a business or not??  I will never bash any track.  Not doing that here.  But Marion Center has probably the shortest season of any track. Doesn't need to get any shorter.  Allways liked racing there.  Was allways a great little track and Nice people.  My Mothers home town!.  Maybe management should think about leasing??? But I am not privy to any inside information.  Just hope they get up and running.  Yes...  weather has been bad this Year!  I get it!  As far as my retirement???? News to me.  I currently sponsor engines to two different super latemodel teams ..and plan to be racing next year again myself.  As Most people know had a 7 hour neck surgery two years ago that has sidelined me for a while.  The cars I am sponsoring are running up front and winning races??  Whats your excuse "ZERO"?????

Just saw on facebook that Gus Frear passed away this morning. He was present at the last race of the season last night at Bedford with his lifetime best friend  Gerald Chamberlain.  The loss of a true Legend in this sport.  For those of you on hear that are not familiar C&F racing from the days old.  It was the Legendary team of Gus Frear and Gerald Chamberlain.  Most likely the winningest combination of crew chief and driver EVER!  Rest in Peace Gus....You will be missed by many.  And God be with you Gerald as well in your time of Loss

Everytime they do that shit gets torn up because some idiot that can't even finish top ten in steel block goes and ends up on the pole in a heat race because of pill draw and junks some good cars.

Maybe the first time you and I agree on anything.  It should be an all Super late aluminum engine show!  Tell the cast iron cowboys to stay at home!  They will have more than enough cars without those guys!  

Why not have a division for those guys. Then you could keep them out of the SUPER DIVISION. Only aluminum engine cars should be permitted to run superlate. Cant afford an aluminum engine..... got to run the steel block division There is about a half dozen steel block cars that ruin the show there every week! Smashing and crashing and spinning out every other lap They definitely need a seperate division for the cast iron cowboys at all tracks!

hes talking about the money grab at Tri City's Applefest..they want a $25 fee on top of Pit Admission for "registering" your car,only time I saw this was at Latrobe the last year they were open.
Tri City never did it with past owners.

Their weekly LM rules are; if you have an aluminum block you have to add 50lbs anywhere in front of the motor plate. Steel blocks 2300lbs, Aluminum blocks 2350lbs. Tonight was no points all cars were at 2300lbs.

So we penalize the Aluminum motor cars on a weekly basis!  Makes good sence to me!  2300 is reasonable!  Thats wnbat thier rules should be all the time!  Been through this argument a million times...No need to do it again!

You guys have to remember that are you are dealing with a childs mind in an adult body!  Having been a Psychology Major...... these  are people making rediculous posts, that had a bad childhood!  Perhaps  bullied and picked on by the other children in their peer group!  Just like the guy that becomes a Cop to get even with the world!  When you can't participate in an adult conversation, on an Adult level....You start name calling and acting like a child!  You must forgive them...they can't controll thier emotions!  And a message board is the perfect place to vent all your frustration!  When you can't measure up on the track...or even get on the track...  you can be the biggest baddest man in town on a message board!  I am allways amazed that the moderators on this board allow their behavior!  Its only entertaining to the less intelligent users!  And Offends most others!
