Cumberland this weekend they have an honest racers payout for supers. Hate the track but willing to support it because they are offering it.

Sure LM number are down in the super class. When I started racing in 1986 there was one LM class, now there are 3 legitimate classes being supers, crates and 358.

For the most part the only different in these cars is engine output, otherwise every other bit a piece is the same form class to class.

What is the car count for all 3 classes?

All three classes offer very good racing, perhaps crates are the best at providing side by side action as the motors are so close compared to the other classes.

Its getting tough to field a super for a middle class family, chassis prices are up and one motor problem set ya back $6K.

Being a guy who feels he has good sponsor $$, works 60 hours a week at a office job and sacrifices all other hobbies to go racing and it not enough any more.

Having raced both super and crates in the past 4 years, I can tell ya crates are much less to operate even with the smaller purse.

The Stampeded is NOT a big late model event, a $3000 to win show over 2 days is not very special.

I wish I was on the road following a big series even on a shoe string and taking provisional to make some shows. I'd be doing what I love doing..should have done it when I was young. The alterative is sitting in my office reading a string by a few people who got to be out of their mind for criticizing him. I only know of Colton from a little crate racing, did not seem like a bad dude, I'm sure they are working hard and wanting to improve.

I look at every result to see how he did, hoping he had a good showing.

Odd, I got the same email and never seen the word "authorized" used. I bought my crate fuel the same way out of a guys garage and it was a time saving, heck it was cheaper than the good Sunoco stuff. I get what your saying but I don't get why you don't relay what ever conversation you had with that is stopping you from getting the list. The way I read it not every is going to carry RUSH fuel, here is where you can buy it. I can understand a series working to deal with solid companies that support the series. Honestly, they would likely handle it better than this and I frankly would tell you to beat it now.

The last line of the letter had the Rush office number for concerns or questions. Its 724-964-9300.

Honestly if you have a crate car I don't know how you can be so bitter about the series. I ran the series for 3 years and while there was stuff I did not agree with I could see where it was coming from; be it saving the team money or putting money into the series and those who run the series.  Again, show me a better series for weekly and touring.

Oh and those who run Rush and don't like, try running a super on the same budget and come back and tell me how bad the deal is.

RUSH is a cost control class, get over it. You jackwads who think its a bad deal, GET OUT. Try running a super on a crate engine budget. Good Luck.
