Stocker For Sale
18 March 2007 - 09:02 PM
I've had a change in work schedule and will be selling my Stock Car. Raced it at Waynesfield for 1 year. This was my second car. Tube chassis but I don't know the make. Chassis is straight and clean. Body is ugly as all get out but legal. You probabley saw the car if you were around some last year. The red and blue #60 Monte Carlo.
Car is complete, almost ready to race and priced to sell $5000.00 Solid, Rock Solid, Don't bother if you don't have $5000.00. I'll part it out ,mothball the parts and hope for a chance to race it in a few years before I sell it for less. This is a bargain.
Engine:
350 Bored out .03
Vortec iron Heads
Evinrude Cast Iron 4brl Intake
Holly 2 brl Carb w/adapter
Roller rockers w/studs
Studs on all bearing caps
Studs for all head bolts
High volume Oil pump
3/4 Race Cam
Circle track oilpan w/pickup
Transmission:
3 speed manual ( don't know the make. Think it is from old chevy truck ) works great.
triple disk clutch
Tires:
Full set of Avengers 3 or 4 good spares
One bead lock rim ( was using on right rear )
Misc:
Fire extinguisher w/panic trigger pull cord
Seat (I'm 5' 10" and pretty heavy. If you're with 3 inches of that and not totaly obese you should be able to sit in it as is.)
Steering quickener
Tach,Temp,Oil Pressure gauges
Fuel cell
Triple core radiator
Like I said it is complete and almost ready to race, Once I make it truely ready, (have it un-winterized and such) the price will likely go up. I Want to get rid of it and get on to new hobbies.
There are adds on too:
I have a mostly sock engine 3/4 built. $500
I had a cabinet fall over with some of it's parts on it and a piston got cracked. They are old domed pistons and I could never find a replacement for the 1 piston, and knowing I wasn't racing didn't finish the engine over the winter. $500 dollars gets all the parts for that engine The block is worh that much. If I had pistons, rings ( or just the one that broke ) and gaskets I could have the engine done in a day. Once I do this, come spring, it'll cost twice as much.
I have a full stock Monte Carlo, almost complete roller. $250
Full roll cage and suspenion minus 1 bent A-Arm.
The real value here is the front clip which is straight and has wieght jacks installed
If you need a replacement clip I think this would be a good one.
Has steering box on it still.
Trailer:
The same trailer I used. Will only sell as part of a total buy out package.
Tire Rack
Brakes
I hate the selling process, so I don't mess around. These are rock bottom prices and a bargain I garauntee (except for the trailer). If you buy it all I have a bunch of other stuff I'll throw in.
Total buy out package for $7,000.
I challenge you to get a car into the feature for less. This car made it 3 times last year. 9th place once. I raced about every other week and ran out of money half way through the season.
