Sounds like you were refering to all the tech guys, you do know there are more than one right ? Why are you so concerned about this, you dont even race. If the money isnt in tires then why does it matter if they run the cheaper tire ? Really it makes no difference to me what tire they run but I'm not going to cry because they went with the cheaper tire. Like I said in my last post, arent we close enough to late models now ? I dont know maybe the car counts will go to full fields if they went with run what ya brung rules. Would they, I dont know. As for the other tracks, its not to hard to look at the car counts and see whats going on with them. I think most guys are just jumping to the fastrak class because stocks cost near them now. JMOI understand, don't call out the guy that put your motor together. The front tires on your car should last a long time, if your car is set up right. Its the back tires that burn off. You say that big tires droped the car count at other tracks get real. When sharon puts on an open the the big tires are on just about every car. The money isn't in the tires that make the cars faster, and you know it.

I dont know bud, I have to say 8 inch tires last longer on my car. Ran the same two right fronts all year. Your going to call out the tech guy because of your BIG beef with the tire rule, really.. You want to run open rules all year ? If so just look at where that got tri city, and is now getting raceway 7 with 10 cars on a good night and Pms with there 7 cars. I think sharon should leave things alone, stay the coarse. 17 car average is pretty damn good these days. I guess if some want more fancy stuff on the stock cars they should go late model racing because after all the stock cars are close enough to late models now. No need to get any closer in my opinion.Bigger tires last longer. Not everyone can buy new 8" tires all the time. So let the racer decide what they can run. Run them both.

You are right, thats the way they are sold.WELL if you walked into Summit & asked for the lowest gear available for a 9" Ford rear, they'll most likely tell you they can get you a 250. In fact, I have 1 in my garage. Gears go by number, higher number,,,higher RPM,,,lower number lower RPM. If you want to limit the RPM's that's kinda a funny way of sayin it. But,,,,,WHATEVER!
I have a real good idea you should maybe take a second look at the rules. The teching has finally become "under control" the last three years. How can you say (read the rules) that they dont want any cars from other tracks ? Open engine rule with a 2bbl carb pretty much sums it up. How are the regulars handcapped ? They have alined the weights with the open weight rules, again, read the rules. As far as the tires and wheels. Do you want to pay 150.00 a tire and 145.00 for a beadlock ? I dont, cheaper on 8 inch stuff 110.00 a tire and 125 for beadlocks. Dont give me this crap, o i can get tires off the local late model guy, because not everyone can do that and there are only so many used tires around. As for the car counts. Have you actually looked because sharon had the second best average of the entire area. Second to only lernerville. So I guess your argument doesnt hold alot of water with many people. They make the stock rules so that they only have a hand full of cars. They dont want cars from other tracks to come. But they open the rules for opens and handycap the ones that run there all year. What a joke. The teck guy needs to get his head out of his A$$ and see what stockcar are, not what they where. Time to get out of the past, you are killing the sport.
