You people are unbelievable! Really? Howie has a lot of knowledge of local racing, yes hes a little loud on the mike. But maybe someone should have given him a little heads up?! And to insinuate that he had anything to do with any tracks downfall is absurd!

Interesting some of the comments on this subject. But in reality any track that was trying to run Saturdays so far this year has been pretty much washed out, in this area. I also realize that by some comments, that certain teams only run at certain tracks. That's fine, but because of circumstances they don't open, doesn't give anyone the right to think the track has an obligation to anyone. A good honest owner/promoter will still get car counts when they reopen. Things happen and as a racer I, myself, can understand certain things. And this is one of them. I only hope things get straightened out and I know my team will be there if they open. But if another track decides to switch to Saturday, that's a different story!

No Walt, it's not just the Late Models. It's the sprints and modifieds and the street stocks and every form of racing. There is no "spec" aspect of racing.

I agree Rocketride. I also believe that you should be paid at the track, on that night. That way there is no excuses. Lernerville still does that, or they mail it to you if you don't want to wait. Seems fair to me.

Issues with the mgt should be taken up with them and not on social media. You have the choice to race wherever you choose to. If you believe this to be true maybe you should go to Eriez!

Miley only got close enough to race side by side with Andrew after a caution.
Miley caught up to him, but was never really any challenge. It was dominating
to say the least! Good job Andrew it is well deserved and just one of many to come!
Off to Dog Hollow for a repeat!

Running steel blocks with the supers was caution filled last race at Marion Center. 51 laps for $5100 or 30 laps for $3500 at PPMS? Oops sorry that's next month at PPMS, the Red Miley Rumble!

Jayme had a good run going! One thought-if you want to run supers and steel blocks together, have a 2spin rule. If you spin out more than twice you go to the pits. It was such a waste of time and fuel, for the caution to be thrown for the same cars to spin out continuously. Alex is pretty unbeatable right now.

I don't want to get into the whole situation that I mentioned above. But it got really low for awtey and said track owner, when they used the banquet as a means to get back at this team. And that's all I am going to say about my experience with this so called champion of yours. Low class. No matter his accomplishments it only takes one time, in his case one year, to tarnish what he worked so hard to achieve.

The free tickets are not the issue here. I personally think this is a good idea to bring back the crowds.
I know from personal experience the once track owner and awtey made it very difficult to race at Jennerstown.
It was a constant struggle to compete against those odds, but sometimes the underdog does win.
The incidents that Wolfie29 references sound a little crazy, but what I have experienced with this team, and the actual actions
that awtey and his team have done concerning Jayme Beck leaves no doubt in my mind that they are true.

No matter how many feature wins awtey gets, he can never compare himself to Steve Peles.
Two different racers all together, different eras, different field of cars. Peles raced
against full fields of cars and was/is quite humble. A class act all the way. Cant say the same for awtey.

Your replys that they competed is far and in between. Yes it was an accomplishment that they ran the entire season. But did they really learn anything?
We will see just what happens this year. And didnt Russ King win the WOO rookie of the year under similar circumstances?
