This shouldn’t even need approval. Mr. Shobe should be thankful that someone has step up and shown creativity that will ultimately change the future and success of WMSP. Look at Earl Baltes and the success of Eldora. He didn’t make a BORING schedule, 5 classes ever Saturday night same thing different day. You have to think outside the box to be successful and you have to gamble and take some risks. Earl added some thought and creativity that got the fans and racers excited about ever event. WMSP needs some spark! If you really promote these 7 events you’re going to pull racers from all over the tri-states. Sundays would be the smartest thing Waynesfield could do. As long as it’s UMP we’ll be there every Sunday! I feel the car count and fan base would surprise a lot of people. Last year Moler Raceway Park rescheduled all their Friday rain outs for Sunday. We attended all five of them and the stands and pits were always full. Racers will drive the distances to race and by racing on Sunday theirs no competition. Something needs to change at Waynesfield Motor Sports Park and hopefully Mr. Cornes could get the job done.
