Being intimately involved with Lernerville's Sportsman Stocks, the track's tech officials and having bought used tires from most of the Late Model teams at the track...I can tell you that a big deal is being made about nothing...with this post.
That's because you don't want them checking those juiced tires your buying! You ever realize Jim it's the same ppl always bitching and as far as I know they have nothing to do with the track at all. That Jo73 doesn't even live in the state but he's on pa race stud everyday commenting on every post to put in his 2 cents yet probably didn't spend a dollar at the track this year.

So the racing sucks because of crates yet you say all 4 divisions are follow the leader. Makes sense I think ppl just like to complain

That was sarcasm to the guys who said he couldn't afford tires I don't care where he races or what he does I just get a kick out of the ppl who are more worried about what he does on this board then there own lives lol

Lets add it up, 3 nights of racing, that's 3x4 tires on the car per night. So that's 12 total tires then add a few for spares, then if you want to make a stagger change add another per night, then you run 20s in the heats and 30s in the feature so add more for that then multiply it for 2 cars, hope that helps

So if the motors are all stock from fastrak why was I told that my fastrak seals won't be legal for rush next year? Any truth to that?

Great idea call the sponsors and complain??? You have to be kidding me. This is the problem with racing anymore everyone wants all the rules and formats to benefit them. The track is obviously struggling and rumors were going around that it was closing etc instead of bitching maybe just show up and be thankful that they are trying to change things to keep the doors open so you have a place to watch or go race on a Saturday night.

No part of that cage what built at Chris's shop. This is no time to take a shot at anyone. It was a terrible accident. This is however a time to get together and decide how to do anything possible to keep it from happening again. There were plenty other cars at the track less safe than that one that was involved in this incident. This is not the time to try and bash anyone

I signed up for it yesterday also, when you type in your number it sends you a confirmation code that says rained out at the top, so if you did it yesterday as I did maybe you misunderstood it?

Over the last 20 or maybe even 30 years the cost of racing has went up 10x and the purses have stayed the same. There's no way to fix that it cost a track to much to race with insurance, utilities and other expensives that will continue to grow. It's coming down to only the guys who really love it. The crate series and the low cost divisions are only slowing down the process. It will get to the point there are 1/4 of the tracks there are now and then guys will have less places to race and therefore more cars and fans in one place. No rules or sanctions are going to make car counts grow. Tell someone with no racing knowledge that he should buy a 15,000 car put 200-500 in it a week and race for 350 to win. If you win every race at the track it won't cover your cost. No matter what division. There is no fix
