haha!! Thats a good one, but what you are seeing is the identification marker for concession stands located throughout the track area.

As of July 1 2012 50/50's are illegal in the state of Pennsylvania throught the small game of chance because there is no way to know if the right amount of money is being paid out. If it is a Fire Dept doing the 50/50 no one will bother them but if it is a profitable orginization doing it turn them in and i bet they wont do it again the fines are pretty hefty. I bet the track dont have a small games of chance licence. In Pa only non profit orginizations and private clubs like eagles sportsmans ect can obtain a licence

Thats an interesting fact. Never knew this. What if the money is going towards driver point funds? I know here at our local track the girls that sell get 20% off the top, then it is divided 50/50 to the winner and to the points fund. I also have never been to a track that I heard it announced that the money was going to a charity, but that would certainly be an awesome thing to do.

$13,488 possible to one driver, if he wins all 4 Super Late Models A-mains (148 green flag laps), at 3 different tracks, over 3 days.

Bedford Speedway Friday, August 31, 55 lap 3 State Flyers, $5,055 to the winner.

Port Royal Speedway Sat., Sept 1, 3 State Flyers 33 lap feature will pay $3,333 to win.

Hesston Speedway Sun. Sept 2, twin 30 lap features for the S³/ULMS/3SF paying $2,550 to win each.

Thats what it looks like if you add up the total purse for 1st place at all 3 tracks. I would think more than 60K going out at the 3 tracks combined but I guess that depends on how many supers are at each event.

It's really pretty simple 73, if someone that competes at PPMS Chooses to post socially unacceptable comments about other competitors, the speedway staff, or our fans, we will take action, just as every other sport in America already does, including NASCAR.

Is our asking our competitors to act in a socially acceptable manor a bad thing? We hope not.

Thank you very much for a straight forward easy to understand answer. I can completely understand kicking someone out of your facility for fighting, arguing, swearing, etc...but seriously it would be very hard to police all chat boards, social media sites, etc. I would think you have much better things to do and would much rather spend the money making your facility top notch. You are never going to please all drivers and they will say negative things about your facility I'm sure. Again, thank you for the honest answer and good luck with everything. Sometimes things are taken out of context and when I first read your post I was like WHOA, who the **** is this guy talking to!!!
