In Topic: amp adds boss sprint show

Boss averaged 31 cars last year and Jeff has heard from a few friends of his from Indiana that said they were coming to support the show. There will be a press release soon.They are working on sponsorship and bonus money for the non regulars that attend the show.As far as central pa. cars they have been talking to some drivers and there will be some.

More info to come about this show.They are 410 sprints. They will bring about 28 of them plus a handful of central pa. cars

.333 max at the cam times 1.5 rocker. You'll end up with .4995 total lift.

The total allowed lift is .500

That is worded incorrectly and will be straightened out on Monday when Terry gets back in town.It will say any aluminum engine blocks will have to add 60 lbs from the transmission forward.

Snooky,Like I said we were only getting 5 or 6 cars so we should not affected other tracks unless those other tracks already had those rules. When you only have a few cars in a class it is not fun for the fans or the drivers.We did not want to drop the class so AMP did the only thing left it could do.If the class did not grow after opening up the rules then they would not have been back this year I believe.In a perfect world maybe we could have raced 5 cars and see if it would grow but we were receiving complaints from the paying fans.Also we were approached buy some of the drivers to see what we could do so the class was not dropped.I hope you could look at it from another side.These are tough decisions that have to be made and it is hard to make everyone happy so in some cases you try and please the majority.
