ULMS at Tri City on Sunday

03 May 2018 - 08:52 AM

With Tri City Raceway Park dealing with the late winter and soggy spring in the same way most other tracks in Western Pennsylvania have been, General Manager Chad Wagner and his team have chosen Sunday May 6th as the final rain date for the season opening Mudslinger.

The format will remain the same as when it was first scheduled for early April. The Mudslinger will be headlined by the 25 lap, $2000 to win Zimmer Service Center Inc. ULMS Super Late Models. Joining the ULMS Late Models will be the RUSH Late Models. Both the ULMS and RUSH Late Models will be sponsored by Titusville Dairy and Precision Transport. Also on the card will be the Open Stocks Sponsored by R&R Enterprises. Schaeffer Oil Lubricants has once again come on board to sponsor the E-Mods which will round out the race program.

Pits open at 3:00 PM, grandstands at 4:00 PM, racing action gets underway at 6:00 PM and plenty of sun is in forecast!

Price structure throughout the season will be $15 for General Admission, Students 13-17 just $5. Kids 12 and under are always free! Pit Admission is $35, and a Family Pass (2 adults and up to 4 students) just $40.

ULMS Entry fee is $25. ULMS tire rule is Hoosier 1300 and American Racer 44 or harder compound. All teams are reminded that red AMB transponders are needed at Tri City Raceway Park.

This will be night 2 of the Keystone State Shootout for the ULMS Late Models as night 3 is now Friday May 18th at Thunder Mountain Speedway.
