Racing was truly his life, from the local dirt track (Eriez) to the largest NASCAR ovals, form driver/mechanic to owner of a shock absorber company that supplied parts and technical information to the nation. I'll remember most the conversation he and I had at Syracuse when he had been working with Bobby Allison on the Winston Cup cars. He gave the inside scoop on how NASCAR really operated, explaining how things really happen, not what you read or hear in the news. RIP, Mike. You will be missed by all!!
