Vs Dick Barton, Chub Frank, Ron Davies, Skip Furlow, Dan Armbruster, Lars Hulings, Matt Urban, Rob Blair, Bob Close, Todd Andrews, Dave Scott. Compete against that back in the day. When Nielsen had Raceway 7, by far the toughest weekly field in the country.

Lucas at Sharon, the Firecracker, and woo at Smethport, are only national local races so far. So he missed racing in a cornfield at Sharon, and a rubbered up one laner at Firecracker. Won the other one. Looks like wise decisions to me.

The racing was pretty good. The bad part was having to deal with all the junk classes being run first. Moved start time back because they dropped a class, which does help the track surface, but like Lernerville, hold people hostage to see the main divisions. A quick reminder of why I only attend specials anymore. Not that they can't be painful at times, but usually run headline division earlier in program. Everybody says to support local racing, which we should. But when you have to be up at 5am to work 10 hour days, starting the week Monday after a long nite at a local track is difficult. Guess I'm not as young as I used to be.
