BRENT TRIMBLE OFFICIALLY CROWNED FASTRAK RACING'S $20,000 TO WIN WEEKEND WARRIOR RACING NATIONAL CHAMPION; FASTRAK RACING TOURING SERIES TO RETURN IN 2023

Carnesville, GA – This past Saturday (January 29), FASTRAK Racing officially crowned Morgantown, WV's Brent Trimble as its 2022 Weekly Warrior Racing National Champion at the national banquet held at the Black Fox Lodge in Pigeon forge, TN. Trimble took home a $20,000 check, a champions jack, and a six-foot-tall championship trophy. Trimble also won the drawing for a brand new GM604 crate engine valued at $8900 to cap off his night.

"This is the first year we have ever tried to run for the national championship; we have a lot of great competitors in the area like Kyle Lukon, Luke Hyre, and everybody we race with that made winning this championship challenging," commented Trimble.

Trimble added, "The FASTRAK deal keeps getting bigger and bigger, and I believe it is going to get even bigger this year with the touring series coming back, which we're going to run, and we got a new team and car owner that we will be running for this year."

Trimble spent his weekends racing at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA, and Elkins Raceway in Kerens, WV, picking up twelve (12) FASTRAK-sanctioned wins in twenty-five (25) race nights. Saying it was a successful year would be an understatement. Trimble's 2022 statistics, including FASTRAK and non-FASTRAK sanctioned events, show what a fantastic year his team had, with fifteen (15) total wins, twenty-eight (28) top 5's, and twenty-nine top 10's. Trimble did not have one DNF, and seven (7) of his wins were special events.

Trimble's #32 Rocket Chassis carried sponsorship from WG Motorsports, Nu-Finish Collision Center, J-Bar Services, Top Notch Kustom Konceptz, Eagle Racing Engines, and FK Rod Ends.

Also, during the evenings 15-year, old Chandi Currence of Clarksburg, WV, was crowned the 2022 Futures Cup winner, finishing fifth in the national point standings. Currence received a check for $2500, a jacket, and the Futures Cup.

To close out the banquet, FASTRAK owner/founder Stan Lester gave a state of FASTRAK update, first introducing Bill Lupinos as FASTRAK Companies International's new vice-president and saying he would be taking over the day-to-day operations of the company. Lester then announced that the FASTRAK Touring Series would return in 2023 and feature $5000 to win events, focusing on making sure track owners made money and giving the drivers better-paying shows.

Also, during the night's festivities, Zack Mitchell of Enoree, SC, was crowned the Ultimate Super Late Model SE Champion for the fourth time taking home $25,000 for his championship. And James Rice of Verona, KY, was crowned the 2022 Heart of America Ultimate Super Late Model Champion, taking home $5000 for his championship.

FASTRAK RACING TO GIVE AWAY A BRAND NEW GM604 CRATE ENGINE AT NATIONAL BANQUET

Carnesville, GA - More exciting Banquet News! FASTRAK will give away a new 604 Chevrolet crate engine at the Weekend Warrior Racing national banquet in Pigeon Forge, TN.

We are returning to the days of old in the FASTRAK Racing Series; a brand new CPP 604 crate engine will be given away by drawing for members present at the banquet. The drawing for a new 604 crate engine is yet another reason to be in attendance at the banquet on January 28, 2023, at the Black Fox Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN.

"This is exciting," said Stan Lester, President of FTCI. "I can remember one year we gave four new 604's away at one of the banquets in Nashville, TN. I would love to see that happen again".

All members will receive a ticket for a drawing at the end of the banquets evening. The winner will receive a certificate for the new 604 crate engine to be picked up at City Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC.

Fans, drivers, tracks, sponsors, and engine builders are welcome to attend. Admission is $40 per person, including meal. FASTRAK RACING AND ULTIMATE SUPER LATE MODEL SERIES WELCOMES BILL LUPINOS AS VICE PRESIDENT

Carnesville, GA – Today, FASTRAK Companies International LLC would like to announce the hiring of Bill Lupinos as company Vice President. 

“I’m really excited for this opportunity; it’s an honor to be chosen by Stan to come in and keep the legacy going and hit the ground running,” commented Lupinos. “It’s time to get some tracks on board and get the touring series back up and running. It’s just going to take a lot of time and work, but I am up for the challenge.”

Bill currently works for Associate Distributors full-time and owns and operates Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY, and has also successfully owned and operated the Heart of America USLM franchise for the last three years, as well as a successful super stock series. 

“I think Bill will do excellent in this position,” commented FASTRAK International, LLC founder, and owner Stan Lester. “We have already proven we can work together since he is the HOA franchise holder.”

Lupinos comes to FASTRAK International with a stellar background in marketing and racing. Lupinos spent sixteen years in marketing with PepsiCo before purchasing Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Kentucky, in 2018. Bill, his wife Stacy, and sons Adam and Aaron can do anything at a track, from grading to running the concession stand, so their understanding of a track’s needs will be an incredible asset to both the weekly and touring tracks. 

“Being a marketing guy myself, Bill and I think a lot alike right out of the chute. I truly think this is the guy FASTRAK and ULTIMATE need to lead us well into the future.”

With Stan Lester, President of the company, having had four surgeries in the last five years, it’s time that he works on his health and is serious about it. Bringing Lupinos on as Vice-President will allow Lester to concentrate on his health. Lester will continue to be involved on a limited basis, consulting for the company and working on additional marketing to increase purses and point funds.

"I'm not going anywhere," said Lester. “The last five years have been a little tough. Before I could fully recover from one surgery, it seemed like another one was right in front of me again. I couldn't seem to exercise, walk, and do all the things I did before, and that’s taken a toll on me. So, time to concentrate on that and get me better first, then I can get back to the tracks and enjoy the fans and teams again.”

Lester continued, "I'm not getting any younger. Remember, we've been at this now for almost 20 years.”

Lupinos will officially start on December 3^rd with the company. Virginia Motor Speedway to Host The Year's Richest Pro Late Model Drivers Weekend This Friday and Saturday, September 23-24

Jamaica, VA – It is finally race week for Pro Late Model racing's richest weekend this Friday and Saturday, September 23-24, 2022, at Virginia Motor Speedway. The $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship presented by Dealer Group USA will attract some of the country's top talent to see who will be crowned World Champion and become a legend.

Track officials are busy preparing the facilities for what is expected to be another record car count. The weekend will again put the spotlight squarely on the country's best Pro Late Model drivers. This mega race will pay the winner a whopping $50,000.

The weekend will also include a $1500 to win non-qualifiers race for the fastest twenty-four cars from qualifying that don't make the A-Main.

It all kicks off Friday, September 23^rd, with registration, tech, two rounds of hots laps, qualifying, and heats for the FASTRAK Pro Late Model competitors.

The following night Saturday, September 24^th, the FASTRAK Pro Late Model competitors will have B Main(s), the 60-lap $50,000 feature, and the non-qualifiers race. The 60-lap $50,000 to win feature will consist of two 30-lap segments with a 10-minute pit stop in the middle. The driver leading at halfway will receive $1000 cash. During the break, drivers will be permitted to make adjustments and change the right rear tire only, all within a 10-minute time limit.

Also, there will be a drawing for a new GM604 crate engine worth $7500 for the competitors that do not make either feature. The winner will take that engine when they leave for home.

The event is open to all Pro Late Model competitors. The event will run under FASTRAK rules, with all series seals being legal, with the tire rule being FT200/FT400. In the event of rain, Sunday, September 25^th, is scheduled as the rain date.

The speedway is currently pre-selling two-day tickets online at  https://bit.ly/2022WC_Tx or by searching MyRacePass.com for Virginia Motor Speedway tickets. Two-day adult tickets are $40, senior (60+) / military $35, students (13-17) $15. Save up to $15 on single-day tickets.

Admission prices for Friday only adults $25, senior (60+) / military $20, students (13-17) $15 and children 12 and under free.

Admission for Saturday only is adults $35, senior (60+) / military $25, students (13-17) $15, and children 12 and under free.

Pit passes, regardless of age, are $60 for either a single or two-day pass and will also get you a seat in the grandstands.

The speedway offers free camping (no hookups) and plenty of well-lit and free parking.

Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway is a ½-mile dirt oval track located on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA, and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA, in Jamaica, VA. The speedway is just a short drive from Richmond, Fredericksburg, Southern Maryland, and the Hampton Roads area.
