I have heard that WMP will be running Non-Winged Sprintcars weekly in 2011... And thats GREAT news....but thats all I have heard...
Does anyone have FACTS on purse, amount of races, or anything about WMP? Im sure the Shobes are still trying to figure out everything and wont be sure intill next spring but any factual info would be great! Thanks Landon

I dont know if i will work next yr or not i was asked to by Tami, i hate to hear what you just said that non wing will run every week. I for one like the 360,s and heard a rumor that there would be no 360,s next yr i hope that is wrong. Lima has built a big fan base with the 360,s. I know a lot a people that when the non wing run they dont come to WRP. There are a lot a people who like the winged cars and were upset with their schedule being cut back. Yes some times not to many would show up but if they ran on a regular basis i think they would show up. Just remember by running non wing almost on a regular basis (that what i mean by catering to them) they have grown from 3 cars at first until now. Dont get me wrong i have no problem with non wing but would like to see them every other week along with 360,s every other week. I for one would like to see some thing like the Fast series and when non wing would run WRP the next week they would run at lima. Then when the 360,s didnt run at lima they would run at WRP. But this will proably never happen but i will always support WRP what ever they run and if i dont work i will proably just show up now and then i for one cant really afford 2 nights of racing. i guess we will have to just sit back and see what happens next yr or what is said at the banquet.
I think one thing Waynesfield needs to do is select there 3-4 classes of cars and stick to it every week. I know that was always one of the complaints I had heard is fans never knew what was running because it changed up so much. I think making the nonwinged cars a weekly attraction is a smart move as they keep gaining more and more cars including several regulars from Gas City and MI. I just hope they keep the purse close to the same as last year.
As for the 360's the Lima regulars just have not supported the shows. Hopefully they keep 1 or 2 NRA shows for the year. The NRA vs SOD was always great weekend over Memorial Day with nice car counts.

I left a message on his phone a day or two after he posted his telephone number. It was a yes or no answer that I needed, and I still have not received a return call. Understand he is a busy man, just thought I would of heard some kind of reply by now.

Frankly I don't recall the stands being full with stocks and or winged sprints. Everyone has their own prefence of what they like but when it all comes down only one person will decide and thats the guy who owns the track unless they turn it over to someone else. I heard what came out of his mouth and untill he says different I'm guesing thats the way it'll be. In a perfect dream world we all want the WOO sprints and lates and wich ever class we're with. Me I'm just waiting on a shedule as I think there's room for all.I still say a night of 360,s mods and stocks is a good lineup . The stocks dont tear the track up at lima. I have to agree with highwayman the last couple of yrs has been the same program and it has failed to get a good full stand. They have to get some kind of a program or series with lima and draw from them. Dont get me wrong i have no problem with non wing but if the purse IS DROPPED watch what happens. Just remember the non wings started with only 3 cars and has been given the best chance to grow on. just my 2 cents worth.

Well just let us non wanted classes that have been supporting the track know when we're gone so we can move to where we're wanted. Thank you.If you do what you have always done....you will get what you have always got !!! For one you can't have your schedule all over the place like in years past ! I agree it would be a better idea to work with limalands classes if he wants support from this area. Fans support these classes, business supports these classes, and racers support these classes !!! Sounds like another year of no butts in the seats !!! One of three things are going to happen..... 1 the purses will drop to a point track will be taking advantage of the racers ( Its not there fault there is no butts in the seats... its not the show this area supports ) 2... Track will be looking for someone to take over agian in 2012 !!! 3.... CLOSED.... JMO
