Thats like saying you go to an NHRA event to watch your cousin Jimbo in his 78 el camino in the street class!

Dirk diggler just one question if the stock car class is so poor not to watch why not build a car and go play with them. I would say you could win pretty easy there in that class. I think you might never see that sign on your car Feature winner. Driving them cars is harder then running your mouth. The best race @ limaland this year was the stock car class 4 cars running 2 wide the entire race.

Where did I say didn't watch the stock cars? Someone saying they go take a #2 while the sprints are on the track because the mods and stocks is where its at is just absurd. i guess you peeps have your own opinion though. For some odd reason I like to watch the cars that make the quickest lap times around the track, not the slowest. But you're right I'm a stupid idiot for wanting to see that and i should go build a street stock cuz i can easily win? Tool.

geno, take them beer googles off, i sit in turn 4 every friday night and i guess you can't see through them beer googles, dussel did jump bad on what you are referring to the other week.very obivious!!! there was no brake check, them #6 cars stumble all the time on take off and that is why jr friday took off early and got away with it,cause it won't go on take offs, favortism, glad to see the 22h win, congrats to dennis and the team, job well done, also geno i heard maybe why they can't get any brakes this year as the the pill system i heard was changed for this year, what a shame.maybe its all fair????? lmao #28Posted 27 July 2011 - 10:33 AM
I was there video taping that night and I have the proof that dussel did not take off early in that heat race. People like to run their mouths about the Hammons team because they have dominated the 360s for how many years? #31Posted 28 July 2011 - 02:08 AM
I guess you don't have to worry about whether Dussel jumped the start or whether Allison played games anymore...Mike is fortunate enough to be back racing 410's and doesn't have to worry about what calls Limaland makes week in and week out. Now you all can concentrate on one 6 car and look for all the cheating ways you can think of, as old dirtfan20 would say....LMAO@U!!!!

WOW I can't wait untill this weeks races!!!!!!! That way we get another topic to read about for another week. Who's cheating this topic has been used way to much, Maybe who drove dirty, or who has the coldest beer in there trailer. How come nobody says who help onother crew or team out.

I'd like to amend the list of worn out compaints (it's obvious nothing changes) to include: -Track conditions -Track forcing you to run a DOT tire on a RACE CAR, then taking your heats away since the junk they make you run "tears up the track" -college cars practicing -the good old days when you had to balance on a piece of lumber to keep from falling into the portajohn.... -the price of hotdogs. -no fuel sales -no beer sales -Nascar sucks -all these contingency decals make a $xxx lettering job look stupid. -5 car b-mains that take 4 to the A -Dropping car counts (they didn't like it, and left in some cases). -xxx always starts on the pole, and jumps the starts. -Stupid harassment in tech over dumb Mr. xxxx smells funny Believe it or not, there are a LOT of things I DO like about Lima (not all the above are my complaints). I'd really consider making it a weekly stop next season if they'd allow a competitive dirt tire, and maybe even considered some of the feedback they've been getting from countless people for the past decade. Anything else? I think I've summed up the past 10 years of Racestud for everyone. Good luck Friday to all! PS, BIG thanks to the Conover's for getting my carb straightened out last week....it helped a ton. Edited by The Terminator, 29 July 2011 - 10:40 AM. #36Posted 28 July 2011 - 06:09 PM
You will never find the perfect track you might as well suck it up and race.

It was supposed to be funny skippo....laugh. PS, as long as I am paying the bills, I don't have to "suck it up" and race anywhere I don't want to. Like I said, there's a lot I do like about Lima, and would consider it if on race tires. #38Posted 30 July 2011 - 01:41 AM
im looking at getting a race car for next year, and while lima would probably be a stop for me once, it would not be my weekly track. There are simply some stupid rules Im watching being enforced. (stock cars anyhow)
1. Observation hole on the interior tin. Someone explain the possible use of this? Ive seen on some lima/eldora cars this "observation hole" and ive looked down through them and guess what I see? Some body braces and a whole lot of ground, and the cars I've seen them on, theres nothing to "observe".
2. DOT Tires, I know DOT has been the norm for the past, but I think its time to change, where can you get DOT Tires? New at a tire shop (not very cost effective), or a junkyard that MIGHT sell you those tires, or maybe craigslist. Hoosiers can be found from Mod teams, which is nice. Tires seem to be more forgiving, and better yet, they look like race cars. Most tracks in indiana are hoosier ump tires, Waynesfield is, Millstream was, Lakeville and Wayne County are and I believe KC are hoosier too. I have asked a few racers what they think of hoosiers after driving with DOT's and they like them better. Waynesfield has it pretty good at the moment, allowing both hooiser or DOT, and that seems to work fine. Frank Palledeno (sp?) runs DOT's at Waynesfield and runs very well. Maybe leave the tire rule open like waynesfield and go from there.
3. (not stock car related) Last year I damn near got shoved on my back by a security guard when asking the 419 Days of Thunder crew if they wanted a hand getting the car loaded (had a very limited amount of tools and guys in their pit) and Barney Fife security officer shoved me and I nearly fell and told me to get the hell out of here. I thought it was a bit unnecessary.
I did attend lima tonight, and had a blast. Track looked excellent except the spot in turn 3. Racing was the best I have ever seen hands down. The facility is excellent, and the price was excellent for all the racing that happened tonight. This is coming from a guy who really didnt care for lima whatsoever. If I'm missing anything, someone please chime in.

All I know is that there is favoritism there, track conditions have improved though except on occasions. Ten years ago it was like a motocross track. It's bad to be a new guy on the track, especially in the stock cars. But that's just the way I see it. Sometimes they put the wrong driver on the tail, "who's calling the shots"??? I see lately numbers are falling off in stocks, mods. Used to have 20+ every week. Theres a problem here somewhere. JMO

First CONGRATS to the college for their win and Gossard on his Vern Frickie win. Nice job guys. I do agree with Dr. Speedy. There is a major problem at Limaland. They (officials) do what they want and when they want. For example this past Friday, one car lost half his tail piece and nothing was done. There is one driver who has already earned the "PINBALL" award for the year. One car got collected up in anothers spin out and even had the official look at his front end and still got his starting position back in the heat race. As earlier this year same situation and both cars was sent to tail for the restart. The more limaland lets this go the more they are breeding for a situation that is going to happen either on or off the track. None of us race fans or racers want to see it come to that. All I have to say is grow a set and tell the people about rough driving, and yes shoving others out of your way is rough driving when it is done mulitiple times a race and night, every Friday.
