My point was Matt isn't the first to offer racestud members the opportunity to sponsor a lap, if you noticed I said it was a different approach. Please, please do not compare this with the PR work done by Big E. If you knew anything about PR, you would not have made that statement.
$58,000 to win!

Guess no one saw the sarcasm in Miley's proposal and opinion of racing message boards...

very few Larry... very few... Everything is always taken as serious and negative on here.

LM, we were told to take previous challenges/offers (show up and log in to Racestud, VIP night for scruffy, etc) seriously when the sincerity was questioned. Why would we believe that this challenge was not just as serious?Guess no one saw the sarcasm in Miley's proposal and opinion of racing message boards...
LM
Do you see the irony in using a racing message board to voice your displeasure for racing message boards, if this is the case?

Why would the promoter of a race track not want his word not be taken seriously? Maybe he's just bad with words.very few Larry... very few... Everything is always taken as serious and negative on here.

Have you ever attended any of the events you listed and been asked to help contribute monetarily ON TOP OF YOUR TICKET AND CONCESSIONS to attract better and/or more players? This would be the equivalent of going to a Curve game and being told that if 1,000 people donate $53, Andrew McCutcheon will play centerfield tonight. Or going to a Baby Pens game and being told told that if 1,000 people donate $53, Sidney Crosby will play 20 minutes tonight.
Perhaps because it was issued as a challenge to "Ante up!" or you won't get the national event that you want; that it's the fans' fault that crown jewel money isn't being paid. Not much tact for advertising voluntary donations. Perhaps because it's coming from the same guy who calls out people for not including their social security number, mother's maiden name, and most recent pay stub when using the message board, but would be glad to collect their money.
Well, the last Steeler game I went to cost me over $180. So to me, racing is a real bargain, and since the Mileys aren't quite the Rooneys, I don't mind helping out a bit. Your negative rants are getting real tiresome.

Yes.I have a serious question for you Scruffy, I want an honest answer, with no stupid insults or sarcastic answers... Do you ever attend the races?

You didn't answer my question. Did a Rooney ask you if you wanted to pay more to enhance the game?Well, the last Steeler game I went to cost me over $180. Negative rant? I am pointing out the obvious. If there's negativity in this topic, it doesn't stem from me.

Of course they didn't, since they charge me a fortune to go to their sports palace, my choice of course. While you were on here criticizing everyone from soup to nuts and back again, some of us actually went to the races tonight. Negativity is you middle name.

Help please, where do I enroll in Racestud Semantics 101?...I firmly believe there is always room for improvement, in fact I try to learn something new every day...why else would I be on Racestud?
My intent is not to offend or insult anyone, as you have mentioned, maybe I'm just bad with words.
Please ignore my posts until I get good with words. Thank You.
We invite everyone to sign up for our emails, our PR person is great with words. No, I'm not the PR person! I'm the maybe just bad with words person!

Matt, you better rethink this whole deal. Trying to win a sarcasm fight with Racestudders is a losing battle, because these guys are pros when it comes to message board sarcasm. You, sir, are a rank amateur who has no hope of competing with these guys on the sarcasm front, so you better quit while you're only 2 laps behind. You're just getting embarrassed.
Thanks for your concern.
By the way if you are a lap down at PPMS, and the caution comes out, you get a lap back. Guess there are No Lucky Dogs on the stud! I'm already 2 laps down! However I am not embarrassed. We know we are giving the racing deal well over a 100% effort of time, resources, and energy. That's all we can do.
If posting that businesses and individuals can sponsor positions for $53 which benefits regional racers, PPMS does not take a penny of it, then so be it. It takes me quite of bit of extre time to sell all the sponsors for the RMR.
WHAT I CONSIDERED A FUN WAY TO STATE IT must not sit well with the veteran studders, rookie mistake!

Seems to me if Matt wants to make money he should probably ignore everything you have to say ... I think you have been fired as promoter of every track you held such position.... Unless im thinking of someone else ...Oh, I think Matt knows and understands what he is doing... LOL
And, he is having some fun with it...
In fact, I'm sure it puts a smile on his face.
Conventional wisdom in the racing business world is to ignore boards such as this one. For all the obvious reasons.

Hmm so how do I end up profiting off of this exactly ?? Im assuming the arragement would be like i put up the entire purse and matt keeps all entry fees, pit admissions, grandstand admissions and concessions lol lol lol. are you suggesting I would sell enough decks to make up that 100k as a result of sponsoring that event ?? And did you remeber to take into account im already booked untill atleast febuary and extra sales wouldnt help my situation anyway ? Maybe I need a beer or 2 or 25 then ill understand...Jon you should sponsor the first annual Hodgkiss Construction 100 lapper, $50,000 to win race!
If you get 100 cars:
$50 entry fee= $5,000
4 people per car at $50 weekend pass= $20,000
You'd only need to sell one deck that weekend to break even for the top payout, and that doesn't even count the fans!
